Richmond Hill AAA
Re: Richmond Hill AAA
Looking at a number of waxer age groups, I’d think RH players would be a welcome addition. And I’d think those RH players would benefit from a more competitive organization. Assuming most king RH players were cuts from YSE. Not sure how much it benefits YSE?

Cut or keep next season depends on team performanceGuest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 1:15 pmIn theory, yes. Next year, for sureGuest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 1:04 pm Big impact on Waxers, Majors & YSE.
RHC first/second line would go to those teams and third line may have to play AA
Problem is this decision was handed down days ago and all AAA parents know the other teams were finalized months ago.
Unless we see a bunch of decommits coming from those 3 teams, the RHC kids are screwed for 2023-24
Re: Richmond Hill AAA
Didn’t they just do that?
And they’re trying to reduce teams, placing players in their proper levels. If your child is aaa calibre and better than the competing kids for aaa roster spots, than he’ll land on waxers or YSE.
If he’s not, stop chasing letters and let him be successful at AA.

Re: Richmond Hill AAA
Don't think so. RH got dissovled is becaue they want move to G rather than they are on the bottom of ETA.Guest765 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 7:38 pm Didn’t they just do that?

Re: Richmond Hill AAA
The OMHA wanted dissolved RHC a couple years ago for being non-competitive.
They gave them a two one year extensions.
The move to the GTHL was a hail mary to save the team.

No one's denying that they applied to the GTHL.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 10:26 amhttps://s3.amazonaws.com/external_clips ... 1532873621Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 5:34 am The OMHA wanted dissolved RHC a couple years ago for being non-competitive.

It just happened after the OMHA was going to dissolve them.
Re: Richmond Hill AAA
it wasn't only them. Brampton, and the two teams in Hamilton were merged. More to come.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 6:06 amSorry I’m late to the story.
But why exactly did omha decide to dissolve only them?
they always roster a team in all age groups and they aren’t always the bottom?
Re: Richmond Hill AAA
This is the start of a wave..... With the decrease in registrations more AAA teams will be cut.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 6:10 pmit wasn't only them. Brampton, and the two teams in Hamilton were merged. More to come.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 6:06 amSorry I’m late to the story.
