This is the start of a wave.

They are probably looking to cut a couple more AAA teams.

They gave them a two one year extensions.

The move to the GTHL was a hail mary to save the team.

No one's denying that they applied to the GTHL.

It just happened after the OMHA was going to dissolve them.
This document was 5 years ago.

North Central would merge with Barrie, not YSE.

They need AP due to LOR, they need one in each area that borders the G.n
North central TO BARRIE.
The rest make sense. This is a perfect senerio. AAA is so watered down, AA is pretty much A hockey 5 years ago. Hockey is dropping in numbers not growing need to make these hard decisions.

COw would be split into three.

Lindsay and south of ptbo would go to ptbo.

Uxbridge / Port Hope would go towards the Whitby area.

North COW would likely go towards Barrie/YSE.

It’s too big of a region to all go towards ptbo.

But rest makes sense

Are you on Crack? No one pulled out. They were dissolved by the OMHA. They've been trying to stay alive.
Sorry I’m late to the story.
But why exactly did omha decide to dissolve only them?
they always roster a team in all age groups and they aren’t always the bottom?
In U10 through U16 this year, RHC finished in the following places:
8th
10th
10th
13th
8th
13th
13th

Don't think it's so much they aren't all at the bottom, but literally not one single age group is even in the top half of a 13 team league and every single team had a negative goal differential. Sorry for the kids but this org wasn't icing competitive teams at any age group.

That's the regular season, both U10 & U12 beat regualr season No. 3 in ETA play down and go the OMHA Play off, that means they are very close.
