If you are a real scout for the SCTA, please be a responsible and proud scout for all the hardworking young hockey players in our region. I understand that you have selected many "better"players from SENS to form a "better" team. However, if winning is your main concern, why not just pick all players from SENS, MM, and little caesars and continue to call it the SCTA team? If you label this team as the SCTA team, please choose players from the SCTA AAA teams and acknowledge the efforts they put into this sport. If you believe that no players in the SCTA are as good as those from SENS, you can either dissolve the SCTA team or allow the real SCTA players to form the team and possibly lose in the tournament so they can learn and improve.

Additionally, you mentioned that you had no choice but to pick players from SENS because you had never seen SCTA teams in other tournaments. However, if this is the case, why are there still some scta kids on your teams? Rumors suggest that these kids were selected simply because their parents are friends with ...you know. Draftday and it's SCTA scouts/coaches no longer have ...

Learn to recognize a troll. You're all so butt-hurt that your kid isn't included in an unimportant cash-grab tournament and are so desperate to argue for the validation you're missing because you didn't get a phone call that the joke's gone completely over your heads.

The funniest part is that you’re both right.

Enjoy the hockey
Sometimes you will play with friends sometimes not

Some tourneys will be more competitive some not so much.

The draft day tournament will be more competitive than joining with your team due to limited spots and some recruiting which has occurred.

Let the kids play - as the hockey will be less structured and due to the lack of team chemistry - so mistakes will happen and lots of goals will be scored. Don't read into to it too much - let the boys enjoy the experience and post some high light dangles, saves and goals so we can see what the boys can do.

Who's knows, you may see them on TSN sport net soon

No one cares about the stupid tournament. It’s a meaningless cash grab. It’s the fact that the team is not representative of anything but money, entitlement and corruption that is upsetting people. Hockey should be inclusive and hard work should mean something at this age.
FYI we all know who is defending this crap and shame on you for saying yes. Enjoy the G next year.

Can we all agree that these so called "studs" are going to be glorified mens league players? From the OMHA alone I can think of 10 kids that will get drafted above those who ran to the G. Its unfortunate that dads have pretty much taken away their kids chance at actually making it
