Sports Illustrated AAA Top Prospects

Thoughts on this? Is it another spring hockey cash grab or is it worth it? Seems the players get some nice uniforms and other stuff as well as several games. Is it a good showcase and should be something I should consider for my guy who’s been invited.

My two sons played in the last one. Level of competition is good, not great, but it was run quite well and there was a lot of nice stuff as you mentioned.

Money maker and doesn’t get the best kids. Anyone can go, it’s just a nomination process so it’s not like they only incite the best kids only

Seems to be more and more of these 'invite only' events popping up each year. The kids do love the swag and gear though so I say go for it.

CHL teams and scouts laugh at these events because they are not even allowed to attend showcase events.

Hahahaha. There aren’t any good players in either of those places…. The teams are almost dead last in their respective divisions.

These aren’t invite only - anyone can get to these including the house league kid that lives on my street

Read some of the Bios on the players. They are beyond laughable and make bottom end kids seem like the coming of McDavid. Huge cash grab. Invite for the dumb only.
