Who’s lazy? All costs are clearly listed on their site. Go look yourself. Day school - boarding. 40k-70k. But if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it. If you have to ask if there are scholarships, your kid is not good enough. They would’ve approached you already.
Foff .. my kid is plenty good enough. He would put them over the op to beat the likes of St Mikes or UCC. Want to get 80% subsidized.

If he was that good you wouldn’t be so desperate, you’d have plenty of other offers. Sounds like the end of his career is in sight and you’re pressing the panic button. Good luck.

Do some homework. Their Varsity team doesn't play the likes of St Mikes or UCC. They compete against US competition as at that level they are producing (probably not producing but rostering) top end talent.

Based on the pedigree of the school, they don't struggle to attract talent. They do cover some costs for individuals but I honestly have no idea what exactly that would be. Don't look at the entry level teams as they are an athletic school so allow most kids to play on the junior teams.

He has plenty of options at this point. Projected 1st/2nd round OHL pick. Three different USHL schools are interested. He will likely play either JrA in Canada or USHL to keep his NCAA eligibility open. Already has offers from two different US colleges. I was only trying to establish if sending him to play in St Andrews was another possible option. But it sounds like it won’t be in our family’s budget and that’s ok. That’s why I said if I can send him with a 80% discount I probably would for one year. Then he would play either OHL or USHL the following year.

I'd maybe take another look.

"USHL schools"? The USHL are not schools. It's a junior league. And no way does your kid have 3 scholarship offers. Pretty sure you don't have an an official offer as your son is too young and not a 'probable' top 10 OHL Priority Draft pick. I call bulls$@t on your post. Go enjoy St. Andrews.

Call bullshit all you want. And you are correct, he does not have an official offer yet. But Aug 1st the colleges can and will be offering him a full ride based on what they have told his agent. Too bad your kid doesn’t have that same problem. There is a lot of hate and jealousy in your text! Loser

Agent? You mean Family Advisor right...because agents can make you ineligible if you're not careful.

There are no parents of first or second round OHL picks posting on here looking for advice or for information.

Website tuition for boarding students is about $70k but it also says there are lots of bursaries and scholarships available. Do any hockey players ever get a full free ride to attend this school? If not what would a realistic tuition be to attend.
50k min with scholarship and with board, and better keep up the grades.
