Team Ontario Can Winter Games

Team Ontario will be finalized January 2nd or 3rd and players will be notified. However they are not to tell anyone that they made the team until January 9th! Strange approach if you ask me. Maybe it gives the team a few days leeway in case a player actually decides to not participate but I can’t see that happening! Thoughts anyone?

I heard that the reason #33 LK for the TM did not get an invite was because his dad made quite the spectacle of himself and was making a scene with other parents! It’s rumour to me but is there anyone else that was either there or heard something. Would explain why he was left off the top 40. Can’t be carrying on like that representing Team Ontario!

They are big on character and do their background checks and research. If that did happen that would send off some red flags for sure, but all just rumours.

Ok, well what has the dad done that would be considered crazy!? Heck, most AAA dads are a little crazy and obsessive about their sons hockey. How is he any different? Did he do something significant that would warrant that title?

You could make a 2nd team from everyone left off and that team would still compete in PEI. So much top end talent in 07’s
