Great team compared to the epic fail it became.

For anybody who knows hockey and can appreciate the game would agree that what CRC Coach did with the group he started with was great and if there wasn't a chase to go undefeated, they would have gone undefeated with the team the HAD. Promises were made, players were ignored and they have gone backwards in development! Prove me wrong CRC

Lost more games, let in more goals and couldn’t even compete with teams outside their loop. Coach’s attitude changed over time. Started believing his own BS and caring more about his own personal ‘gains’ than the teams success. He tore up a good group of kids to make his ‘super’ team. It blew up in his face, alienated everyone and now he can fade back into obscurity where he belongs.

Honestly speaking RS is shit as a coach. The players put him on the map. We put this team together and at that time the coach. He didn’t recruit, the parents did. He didn’t develop the kids we did extras. The only time he “recruited” was CRC8 and even then CRC8 parents wanted to go through OMHA route because the player doesn’t do well against G teams. Seen it many times before. It’s not like players wanted to go to CRC saying we heard the coaching was amazing. We came because we all knew each other and the parents and players were a team - a family!
RS you fcked up amd broke up our family. When that happens this is the result you’ll experience.

RS mentality of, i'll wait for tryouts to cut/add players doesn't work these days. Players already know in Jan/Feb where they are going or at minimum skating/talking with other coaches. I can tell you from past experience that RS talks to the players he’s keeping in January. He’s lying to your face. If he has told you that he’s not doing anything until tryouts it means you’re a bubble player. he will cut and replace your kid on the last day of the season if something better or more lucrative comes along. You should make some calls asap. I’ve watched him ruin the futures of many players over the years without warning. Guy has zero consideration for anyone but himself.

RS is the opposite. He’ll tell you your kid is safe and cut him on card signing day. I know some families that he just ghosted and didn’t say anything until the parents called him. He cares about his own self advancement and never considers the kids or families he tosses aside.

Winning some games has a weird effect on a coach. When your at the bottom its easy to roll the lines and talk about caring about the development of everybody. Then the team starts to figure things out, win some games, then coaching starts to change. It becomes more desperate. Its not just RS, its also JP. The 2 of them have destroyed that team, and we unfortunately were a part of the group that was tossed aside, best of luck

I thought my kid was a vital part of the team. At least that’s what RS kept telling my kid. We were ‘told’ that we were coming back. Coach called at the end of season with a bs excuse. We weren’t the only ones either. The man is a self serving scumbag.

I hear oakville is making a run for things next season....might want to give a few CRC players a call, im sure youd get a positive reply
