based on last season, at least 4 kids from CRC, 2 kids from NN, 2 from STA, 1 from burlington, 1 from Hamilton.....almost a full team right there. Not sure who you are but just because your kid cant compete or make a G team, dont assume all others cant either, all you do is add to that G ego.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 29, 2024 11:09 pmI think you’re right. These teams were picked months ago. They call you up - ask if you’re interested and then send you a link to sign up. I’m guessing some guy watched an early bird tourney, asked a few coaches he knows and then asks the guys that recruit kids for the agencies. It’s honestly not that big a deal. They are making money running spring tournaments. They hope to get some good kids - but there are no objectively best 13 year olds and they know it - so they don’t worry about it and cash cheques. If you can’t help your kid to have a little resilience about being left off one of these teams your kid is in for a tough ride in life. There is no fairness in hockey or life - as there is no omnipotent being that decides right from wrong. Buckle up and have some fun and don’t worry about this sht. throw the puck out there and get after it and have some smiles. It’s a game!
Not a big deal but also not a great look. Just call the team something else like best of the best of the best only better.
And I don’t blame any of these companies. It’s decent business separating us from our money by stroking our egos about our average kids.
I keep waiting for the time when talent will be recognized over a thick wallet.

Some can skate with them for sure but the CRC kid that went and played 3rd line in Mississauga is a good example of our leagues strength. You can take at least 2 or 3 kids from every team who could play in the almighty G.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 6:56 pmSome can skate with them for sure but the CRC kid that went and played 3rd line in Mississauga is a good example of our leagues strength. There’s even room for your kid on the titans.
Kid who left cr didn’t dominate anything when he was here. Anybody who paid attention isnt surprised by his lack of playing time. Doesn’t help that the sens are stacked.

That’s the best you have from an entire league??
Re: Scta 2010
Sens aren't stacked...they are stuck...it doesn't matter how good you are your kid will never play there. They need a couple of players every year who will pay their dues and get 3 shifts a game. I hear they can't find 9 forwards to fill their roster. Looks like parents have smartened up and not falling for the Sens Trick anymore.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 5:57 pmYou can take at least 2 or 3 kids from every team who could play in the almighty G.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 30, 2024 6:56 pmSome can skate with them for sure but the CRC kid that went and played 3rd line in Mississauga is a good example of our leagues strength. Easy dad. TOP Sens player??? That's a statement ready to piss off the internal folks at the Sens!
Re: Scta 2010
Probably just waiting on kids to move to Toronto so they can sign the roster like every summer. Our teams are sick of seeing guys walk and want to keep talent so they won't just release players any longerGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 01, 2024 9:58 pmSens aren't stacked...they are stuck...it doesn't matter how good you are your kid will never play there. Re: Scta 2010
Ladies and gentlemen, most of the top players on G teams are from the O, its unfortunate that parents dont know any better and go running when coaches start to promise them the world. Its a shame because those talented players get lost in the crowd of shuffling and chasing jerseys and never fully get recognized.
Re: Scta 2010
What were the changes? They got an F from Oakville and dropped their backup goalie… what goalie did they pick up? What other changes?
