Ya right…. the ETA sucks and zero development in those top centers that you are referring to.
Same ETA centre was semi finalist the last two years at OHL cup. I’d say it was ok development.
Can I assume you are talking about Peterborough ?
2008 team had half the players on the team from different organizations - when open borders hit they recruited instead of developing.
2007 team could have been called the Ottawa Petes for much the same reason as above.

I won't boast about development in Peterborough. Pretty sure that was their run and now done.
Barrie and Peterborough didn’t compete at OHL cup they lost easily to G teams
OR easily won the OHL cup last year.
In finals against a G team and Oakville not really a OMHA team …
Any exhibition games set?

How is a team from the OMHA and players from the OMHA not really from the OMHA? Makes sense .

When did they start playing ETA two years ago …it’s a joke one crossover weekend as OMHA tries to compete with the G and fail

With open borders the 07s and 08s were stronger than the G ten past 2 years in U16. At U18 with open borders the OMHA has stronger teams than the G . They should have left the borders open for younger ages.

I love the guy complaining about ptbo recruiting. Ya, like G teams don’t recruit from all over the province. Like come on, we start to play by your rules in the OMHA and start to compete with the big bad G teams and all of a sudden recruiting is a bad word and can’t be done…….except for in the G. Good one. Sounds like someone’s butt hurts

Bottom line is, if you all play by the same rules, the top OMHA teams are just as good as the top G. Close the boarders and still allow the G to do their crap, and they will then be allowed to pound their chest again.

G is a way better league in every way . Peterborough only won because of recruiting not developing!
