Silverstick Tournament, seeing GTC, VR, FT, MB and MNS. Strong field of teams from the west, also N.Toronto and Markham Islanders, plus a Niagara Falls team.

Gotta say VR the fav here but early bird tournaments can be tricky, and the competition in this one is strong.

Any team can have a bad game, just like any team can have a real good game. So, anything can happen.

Any team can have a bad game, just like any team can have a real good game. So, anything can happen.

I'd agree VR probably winning the silverstick but it's an early bird. I've seen some unexpected results in these tournaments. Too bad the silverstick isn't held at least a month into the season and not as an early bird tournament.

Players still wanted at GTC (2), TW, MT, MR, HVS, VP.

Quite a few openings around. I also see TW and MT looking for two players, F and D. TW was in tough with a short bench last season, hopefully they don't have the same issue this year. Always wonder how you find someone at this point?

I think with TW and MT, its either F or D and they only need one player.

Just to clarify, TW just looking for one player. It can be F or D. It got posted by org accidentally as two separate listings.

We won't have the same issues as we have 16 skaters signed currently. Looking for one more to bolster things as we learned last year that a full lineup every game is a wonderful thing. Not looking for a body either, want someone who will contribute and a good family. We can do fine without adding anyone if that's the way it goes.

You are right that it can be hard this time of year. We will see what happens
