I just got back from the caps tryout and my head is spinning from all the yelling in the car. What the hell did we commit to. I'm not joking when I tell you it was house league/select at best. Where did their top players end up? Not that they were a super team but a decent mid pack. The team is too small to compete in U16. Sorry for the rant but just frustrated as we didn't skate around and now stuck with this. It doesn't even look like they have enough to fill the roster.

Tigers - Better, picked up top terriers kids
Sharks - slightly better
Toros - better, added some strong adddtions
Wolverines - similar or slightly worse, dominant players gone

Panthers - similar, lacks on player development

If you have doubts, Make sure you do not register with the caps. They will not release your card if you change your mind. I was chatting with a mom at another tryout and she told me last year they held on to a player and did not refund their money. no refunds. They used the funds to give another player a free ride. I suggest you start making some calls. Most teams hold 1 or 2 spots for tryouts
