You both speak like you were personally slighted, hurt, not invited or uninvited to stay with MNS. Wish your boys all the best wherever you are. Cause God knows with a couple of gems like you, your kids need all the help they can get.
Not an MNS parent but have watched that team for years now back to when they were in Novice. The coach has a way of drawing out the best in any player he puts on the roster, regardless of what happened last year, that coach knows how to develop and win. One of the most detailed and organized team. Again, not an MNS parent but if you’re looking for a good environment this is the place. Remember people will always bad talk something they can’t have.
Thanks coach. And don’t worry, no one wants the north stars
Hahahaha, you just confirmed it. You really are as dumb as you sound. Nice, keep eating those crayons. Don’t give up on your dreams.
Develop? Hardly. Since you've been watching since Novice, how many of those kids have developed into AAA players, you know since it is an AAA program. You only need one hand to count them, and you won't need all your fingers to get to the total.
How many kids are left from the team that one it all a few years ago (not including the three kids of the team staff).
Seems like more people leave there than go there, wonder why that is?

Agreed, the coach can develop players and knows how to win, but he's also an A-hole who has lost a lot of talent because of his Napoleon complex. At some point the well is going to run dry and he'll have nothing left to coach. Is it this year? We will see.
That coach gives those kids the tools to be successful, possibly move to AAA. The reason why not many have made the jump? Kids don’t want it bad enough. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. It’s up to the kids how far they wanna go. How much do they want it. That’s it, not all of it rides on the coach. The kids have got to want it bad enough.

Motivation of parents and players is a great point. Wanting all our kids to play at the highest level is one goal, but maybe not the only goal.
How do you evaluates success? Chasing letters? Finding a place for our kids to have the greatest amount of growth? Different teams for different peeps. Fits important.

Just run. There is no AAA program there. They lost a few players this year which carried the team. If you look at last season stats they scored more than 80% of the goals. New adds to the D is weak and cant keep the puck out of their zone. They are done this year. May not even make playoffs

What coach isnt an a-hole? Nice coaches have losing records and can’t keep players

There are so many ex-MNS parents out there. We could have our own team.

Rangers coach seems pretty good. They have the smallest turnover rate in Aa

Totally agree. That’s why they should take it all hands down, for hockey is a TEAM sport. No turnover equals much success ?

theres are kids that dont play much on the rangers but they dont care. Sacrifice for being on a winning team. Thats why no one leaves, the bench warmers like to take home the hardware too

Again, I have to say. ANY AA coach that doesn't play the full bench is a POS and should not be coaching. Benching at this level should be to teach or when it is a very crucial moment in a crucial game when something is on the line (there are very few of these games in a season). Winning through harming some of the players on the team is nothing but 100% failure. AA is nothing. Roll the lines 95% of the time and let them play. ALL players deserve to be developed and played. You don't like them then don't take them. I repeat, AA = nothing. Get a life.

To the tripod parents who say go to house league, lol, you are the absolute worst. Get on the ice for 30 seconds and then we will see how much weight we should give your opinion. You know nothing. Your kid isn't special and AA is nothing. They are all going to beer league and the journey is all that matters because there will be nothing else for you. In 3-4 years it will all be over. Then you may see that harming of any kid wasn't worth it. My grandma played AA. She was a third liner but she got played regular so had the time of her life (the way it should be).

FACT CHECK: grandma didn't play AA.

Vaughan parents sandbag at VR. They will always be good regardless of the coach.
