Probably better off putting together exhibition games and hand picking the team you play against. Like a practice squad. I don’t think this sort of thing helps.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 8:01 pmEverest is gearing up for a couple big tournaments gotta play against someone to iron things out.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 7:52 pmVision?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 7:13 pm You retarded F uks have over 1000 pages of posts. Most of the best kids from the G and all other centers played. Everest by far had the best team and players. The only kids that did not play are the ones in Italy and they are not ALL the best kids.
Any team that made it to the quarters and semis all had real good players.
The Vision team that just missed had a great team also and they just missed out.
Everest by FAR the best
Then you had both Pro Hockey teams
Draft Day Gold
Northern Team
Toronto Elite
Which team was your kid on?
There are a handful of kids who play spring for fun and whose parents aren’t in need of their kid being insulated by other comparable kids. Then there is Everest.
What is the point of entering a tournament knowing you won’t have any competition? What development was had?
To each their own I guess.
Who was on TE? I thought that was their Elite roster?
PEP North & Draft Day probably surprised some people.
Will be interesting to see how Everest performs against comparable competition.

Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
Or for their kid to play against good kids. My kid played for te and I don’t go around telling people he plays elite. He plays because he belongs. Just a fun tourney when there is nothing else going on and for my kid to play with other kids in the g. You guys are all fing idiots. I bet the above poster either didn’t play in the tourney and is jeolous or his kid played on a really great team and his kid was a 0 impact player. Poor you

Lots of parents will be eating humble pie in a few years.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 8:05 pm The more interesting part of the weekend was seeing what kids have been protected (ie surrounded by good teams) and kids who have not had that level of protection ending up with a variety of outcomes in a tournament like this.
Will be a lot of surprises come the winter season
Many kids who were once considered top players are no longer.
Some kids are still doing the same shit they did at 8 yrs old and many peaked 2 years ago.
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
The only kids we did not see much of are the Marlie kids. That’s the same team that did not make the semis in the finals and Don Mills took that spot.
Name the top 20 kids at the age and most of them played this weekend.
So no clue who is the delusional group that thinks top kids did not play

Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
is anyone paying for advisors? i'm new to this and probs a bit green when it comes to this kind of things. i was approached by someone who is promising the world and all the connections and opening doors andall to advise my kid but just don't know what I'm getting into. pretty expensive too.
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
Bobby Orr once said " If your kid is good.... they will find you"... I wouldn't be paying anything until real hockey starts at U14(Hitting).Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 2:15 pm is anyone paying for advisors? i'm new to this and probs a bit green when it comes to this kind of things. i was approached by someone who is promising the world and all the connections and opening doors andall to advise my kid but just don't know what I'm getting into. pretty expensive too.
Re: 2012 GTHL AAA
Don’t do it. If your kid is good enough he will be fine and you shouldn’t have to pay for anything. Buyer beware on that. I don’t mean any disrespect but I’m assuming you are on the mm, mr, sens or tt?Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 2:23 pmBobby Orr once said " If your kid is good.... they will find you"... One person who is one of the only unshady and good people in hockey, said if any advisor or agent asks for money. Tell him right to his face, you are a f.ucking joke and stop watching my 12 year old like your retirement plan.
