Lots of AA players coming out to their "birthday skates".
Mt needs to do what’s right and give up the team. 4 years in and he’s driven the team into the ground. Staying on to keep his own kid and his buddies kids in aaa. Organization clearly doesn’t care enough to make a change. More of what’s wrong with hockey in Toronto.

Why is this a MT decision? This is a Nats decision. They are the idiots. Its a paycheck for MT and son plays like a 1st liner. No brainer for him!
All these people complain about open borders and needing choice and now complain about hockey in Toronto. TYN has been Top 8 every single year, this year will likely be the same. Yes a lot of kids are leaving, a lot left last year too.

Half of TRW is leaving too, same with MS. Kids moving isn't anything new.

There is a huge amount of movement this year. On every team minimum 4 players or more on each team. Not including goalies.

All teams are turning over 5-8 players but for some reason there is a sudden focus on the nats. It must be one of their cut dads on here.

I think that the point is that he’s had 4 years to develop that team and he’s accomplished nothing. When all your best players jump ship there is an issue and it’s usually the coach. That should be a red flag to anyone considering going there.

Huge amount of movement - but how many top line kids are moving? What goalies are moving (are they mainly back-ups or is it the top end kids). Always movement, but my sense is the real cores of the top teams are sticking together.

The top 3-4 fw and top 3 d will at the very least be staying on most top teams. NYR JRC and TM have been quiet, but they are 100% going to change out some of their smaller players for big ones. I have only heard that a couple Montreal Kids are coming not sure where, DS is going to VK, Hamilton kid, NB kid, EMC kid all have been at skates/talking to coaches, but doubtful they come. I have a feeling that there will be a lot of movement, but really late. Going to be a lot of kids cut just before signing.

Even if you factor in kids coming from outside of G, there's only a handful coming in. I doubt you will see a package of kids to take up 25%-30% of a team's roster. Majority of kids in AAA will still be in AA next year even if they are smaller. I do agree there will be movement as each team tries to crack the magic recipe of U14 hockey.

Nobody complained about open borders. Nobody complained about kids leaving. The poster was making a comment about the NATS coach, that's all.

I watched the NATS game last night (we are looking for a team for next year) and I must say I have never seen such a poorly coached team, NO passing, can't leave the zone with the puck, kids on the ice skate with head down and have zero idea where their teammates are and the few guys on that team that are talented just skate up and down the ice trying to figure out how to get the puck playing with no structure, I don't think the D even care about passing to the forwards, I seen so many times a couple of them just blast by the forwards without even considering the pass they think it's pond hockey. At least five backdoor opportunities and other high quality passes not made or even attempted, bad angle shots instead, zero cycling of the puck, and these kids are rewarded by this coach with more playing time and whoever that one kid is playing centre barely wins faceoffs and has no idea what to do, dumps the puck continually and can't skate. It's almost like they play the kids that don't pass and the kids that skate with their heads down get rewarded with icetime. I suspect the coach wants this season over with. They will be out of playoff contention this week. It's a hard pass for us, my kid is slightly above average and much better than many of those kids I watched yesterday and can pass and shoot and we are looking to play actual hockey not pick up. Anyone know of any other teams that may be looking? we are in the OMHA now. I have already watched Reps, Sens and Markham we would prefer a mid pack team.

You just watched a mid-pack team. Check out Titans or TRW. Big gap between the teams here and the Top 6. Also if you are not at a Top 4-5 OMHA team now, all of TRW, Titans, Sens, TYN are better than where you are.
