I watched the NATS game last night (we are looking for a team for next year) and I must say I have never seen such a poorly coached team, NO passing, can't leave the zone with the puck, kids on the ice skate with head down and have zero idea where their teammates are and the few guys on that team that are talented just skate up and down the ice trying to figure out how to get the puck playing with no structure, I don't think the D even care about passing to the forwards, I seen so many times a couple of them just blast by the forwards without even considering the pass they think it's pond hockey. At least five backdoor opportunities and other high quality passes not made or even attempted, bad angle shots instead, zero cycling of the puck, and these kids are rewarded by this coach with more playing time and whoever that one kid is playing centre barely wins faceoffs and has no idea what to do, dumps the puck continually and can't skate. It's almost like they play the kids that don't pass and the kids that skate with their heads down get rewarded with icetime. I suspect the coach wants this season over with. They will be out of playoff contention this week. It's a hard pass for us, my kid is slightly above average and much better than many of those kids I watched yesterday and can pass and shoot and we are looking to play actual hockey not pick up. Anyone know of any other teams that may be looking? we are in the OMHA now. I have already watched Reps, Sens and Markham we would prefer a mid pack team.

I doubt you are a omha dad, but one of the Disgruntled dads, that think their kid should play centre (as you have pointed out that centre never wins faceoffs) and then talk about how the D do not pass to the forwards. Who on the nats is mad that their kid is playing wing and not getting passes. You have found your culprit

I don't think any of you have thought this through fully. IF more than half the team is leaving and the NATS are looking for players is that because the Coaching is shit and nobody wants to play for him as well? Using your Rational it would seem so. Everyone knows the D is the worst in the league it's no secret. Or is half the team leaving because you think its the lunatic parents and nothing to do with the coach? Clearly thinking is not your strong point if you say otherwise just Name me a parent that doesn't complain about passing. FFS. You people are stupid.

NOBODY looking for a team would go into detail like you did and talk about how bad the kids are unless they are a dad on the team not happy. You are worried because my deduction makes sense and are worried people on your team will quickly find out the scum.
I never said they were good, but they are not that bad. They lack talent and skills, but they were able to beat some good teams this year. I don’t care about the Nats, but I like calling out conniving parents.
Legitimately, it makes no sense that an OMHA parent would come on here, write a paragraph about how much the team sucks and make it so obvious who it is. Enjoy the last couple of games, the parents know who you are… it will probably come down to the last game to make the playoffs. MT is a decent coach and he would probably shove a stick down your gullet when he finds out. I want to see that!

Anyways TYN dad, your options are MM or Reps next year then AA to end the son’s minor hockey career, but you just kinda outted yourself!!

The assessment and long winded message is accurate. Parents talk and I have heard all kinds of rumblings. The parents I know on that team certainly feel that way 100%. I guess the truth hurts some. Why is the default always your kid is crap, go to AA etc. Of course you can always try and convince everyone on MHT that the coach is great and he is losing his team because he is so awesome. Good luck with that anyways have other things to do now this was my daily checkin for gossip. My shit is done and need to wipe.

I think it's a Sens Dad, jealous because the mighty Nats beat them last night and they know little johnny is losing their spot to all the Nats kids going there next year. The irony.

Sounds like you guys are discussing the Titans. That coaching staff is a real special group. Add a Couple money dads into the mix and boom you have crap players in every situation on the ice and protected from coaches scrutiny everyone on the team knows and sees it. Pathetic.
