He is a completely different player than MD who projects to be a Shane Wright or Milan Lucic type of player.

Kid is tough as well.

Parents are dedicated to drive him around GTA. Why the hate? Ask yourself if you do enough to help your son? That’s a better spend of time.

MD didn’t even score a goal at the Brick and thrives on overmatched competition. Good player in the age group but not even close to a Shane Wright, you have to be kidding me.

JH another good player in the age group but doesn’t have the same long term potential.
Are we all experts now in scouting 11 year olds? Both are top players in 2012 group. It’s crazy how we expect our kids to be a complete hockey player when they can’t even watch a PG13 movie.

I wasn’t suggesting JH turns into Mitch Marner or MD into Shane Wright. I was referring to their style of play as U12s. Both are fun to watch!
Amazing players, they help elevate the other players in the loop, as long as they are enjoying themselves I don't see any issues. They are enjoyable to watch, even as opponents. Kudos to these young men, it will be a awesome season

JH would need to start passing for that to happen

Really? Does Bedard pass off when he has a clear shot in the slought? He’s a threat on the ice. Attracts so much attention and makes the right play from what I’ve seen. Enough of this cyber bullying an 11 year old.

Very talented kid no doubt, but he rarely makes the right play. Message from home isn’t the best as you see him stare in the stands after every shot.

He had more points in 1 game than your duster has all season. He knows how to make the playoffs right play

Enough of picking on a 10 or 11 year old. Dislike of a parent for whatever reason is one thing. To demean a child is pitiful. Grow up.
Move the discourse over to Marlies Early Bird instead. Many of the GTHL teams are participating. Will be nice to see how the gaps have closed, if at all.
Unfortunate that JRC doesn't typically participate in Marlies tournaments and vice versa. Would be a better challenge than what they faced over the past couple weekends in Detroit and exhibition routing of incomparable teams.

Yup! Lots of storylines this weekend:

The performance of TI
MR improvement or lack there of
Steel and CRC against G teams
Imagine Sens losing lowly reps
DMF and their shallow talent pool
How dominant TM and NYR will be
Which dad starts a fight
