Yup! Lots of storylines this weekend:
The performance of TI
MR improvement or lack there of
Steel and CRC against G teams
Imagine Sens losing lowly reps
DMF and their shallow talent pool
How dominant TM and NYR will be
Which dad starts a fight
Steel and CRC are both a joke. I heard the Steel lost to a 2013 team 7-0 in exhibition game a few weeks ago. Team is a total joke with no talent. Nothing to worry about.
CRC aren’t even a good team in a bad league not much else to say. The G teams will roll it’s just a question of what team gets hot next weekend.
MD didn’t even score a goal at the Brick and thrives on overmatched competition. Good player in the age group but not even close to a Shane Wright, you have to be kidding me.
JH another good player in the age group but doesn’t have the same long term potential.
Are we all experts now in scouting 11 year olds? Both are top players in 2012 group. It’s crazy how we expect our kids to be a complete hockey player when they can’t even watch a PG13 movie.
I wasn’t suggesting JH turns into Mitch Marner or MD into Shane Wright. I was referring to their style of play as U12s. Both are fun to watch!
Amazing players, they help elevate the other players in the loop, as long as they are enjoying themselves I don't see any issues. They are enjoyable to watch, even as opponents. Kudos to these young men, it will be a awesome season
JH would need to start passing for that to happen
Really? Does Bedard pass off when he has a clear shot in the slought? He’s a threat on the ice. Attracts so much attention and makes the right play from what I’ve seen. Enough of this cyber bullying an 11 year old.
Very talented kid no doubt, but he rarely makes the right play. Message from home isn’t the best as you see him stare in the stands after every shot.
Low hockey IQ. Dad has forced him to skate 10+ hrs a week for years now so he was naturally better at younger age just because of more ice time. Now physical development and IQ becoming more important and you see him missing the open guy and making the wrong play all the time. That’s not demeaning the kid he’s a nice kid. Just facts.

First of all if you mean at king of the rings the steel lost 5-0 to the 2013 team. The 2013 team also beat my sons team and they were all brick kids so you can’t just say a 2013 team. One negative for the steel was they had 4 OMHA all stars with them for the weekend so their tournament team was better than their regular squad and they still blown out. They won’t beat any top teams from the G. Hard working team but no studs and kids like MD or JH should eat them alive.

You have no idea what you are talking about. He has a very high level iq.
Go to google, type your name in. If there is not a picture or stats of your hockey career, you are not qualified to give an opinion on what hockey IQ means.

We should make this a staple. When you hear a loud mouth going off with expert opinions. Pull out the phone and google the name. If they are not on the first page with stats that show they were relevant in the game, just say " I did the search" and that should shut them up

JH dad posted the last 3 comments for sure. A guy who never played a meaningful game of hockey in his life. Does my Jr A experience count? Because I also think your kid doesn’t have much hockey IQ. Stop living on this site and trying to live what you never had through your kid .

Dude shut up. You were a plug at best but anyone talking smack played zero quality hockey. I’m not even going to argue your comments about JH or any for that matter. You’re an idiot.

Neither did ken hitchcock, Jon Cooper or Scottie bowman. You can learn the gsme without being good at it.
Those are exceptions to the rule. Many of them are savants that studied the game and had mentors that were exceptional hockey players/ coaches.
You are not Jon Cooper or Scottie. You are taking a break from your cubicle, taking a dump and forcasting the future of a kid based on a skill that anyone who knows hockey would disagree with.
