I think they're very reliable, it's a good formula. MHR rankings are always very reliable when you get about 20 games in. Problems if you have some games not recorded but the rating makes a ton of sense and always tells you a lot after the 20 game mark.
They calculate how much you beat someone by and strength of schedule, it's a good formula. If it doesn't fit your narrative that's another thing, but it's accurate.

I see they lost in OT, tough. It's good to see West teams doing well in a tournament. Especially if the 4th place team is having a good showing. Shows the strength of the division. I get the sense if you moved the top 4 West teams to the east they'd still be the top 4 other than FH.

Sharks - Weird week. Loss to Avs, ties vs Rangers and Panthers and beat the EAgles? Teams have ups and downs but that's a strage low.
Avs - hottest team in the division, winners of 4 straight. They aren't just winning games, but putting up massive scores. Back to the form they've show in past years.
Attack - Going through a slide. Shocked they lost so big to the Avs. Will turn it around.
West Mall - Show fight, but not at the level of the top 4 teams.
Rangers - Getting better, tied the Sharks and came close to the Attack.
Panthers - are they hosting more birthday skates already?
