I am looking forward to the season opener.
What team was he on and what team is he joining?

Thoughts on some of the teams in the East you've seen in the past?
We are joining NYK for next season.

SIR: I thought they would be a strong team, but they look like a .500 team at best
MI: From GTHL champ (U10 year), to second last? from what I understand they lost only 3 players after U10 year.
TRT: A good team with some big kids.
EE: we played them previous season, didn't think they are skill enough to move to AA
LF:VS. them in a tournament, they don't look that great, how did they even get to the final?

Are you confusing A with AA?
As far as I know the EE is a AA team.....😒

EE was A team for the u10 season, and move to AA this season (U11)

MI cut 3 bottom kids and added SIR's 2 top players and a strong AA kid.
False.
Absolutely not false
How'd yesterdays skate go?

I'll stick with the initial statement of False.
Went great, new kids coming and signed as expected.
*coughbscough*
Can confirm. SIR lost their top 2 D and their top 4 forwards. Some to AA and some lateral. Only 1, Defense, went to MI Single A.

For their sake, hopefully tryouts brought in something otherwise they are in very deep trouble.

Yes, noted....that was two seasons ago. EE now in AA loop....so pointless to speak or analyze them in this A thread. No one here will be playing them.

You played LF in the afternoon, right after their lunch pizza party. *burp*

NYK, one-dimensional team, one-dimensional coaching. Any top team can win any given game, but LF had depth on every line. They developed. That's why they won the East playoffs

No idea how NYK A will fare next season as they lost a bunch of core top players. However, the final series for the East could have gone either way.....games decided by ONE goal....but agree that LF definitely developed as a team and that's why they were in it and had the capability to win it.....

He’s just parroting buzz words he has heard around the rink.

Its not what I heard at the rink. Its what I saw. NYK literally taught the kids to execute 2 or 3 plays really well in order to win games. That carried them in the regular season but came back to bite them in the playoffs. It's one dimensional to coach like that in U11. LF changed things up. Moved lines around. Focused on development instead of winning.
