Because they need players. Imagine needing a 5’2 player in minor midget.
None of the players of the 2009 age are going to make any of these Jr. teams. These teams are not going to pick up a 15yr old when they can only take one 16yr old so relax everyone. If they are out skating or playing exb-games it's most likely a favour cashed in to hopefully boost the players stock going into the big bad draft year! LOL. Lots of players have been reported to be at Jr. tryouts, chill out it means nothing.
Alliance 2009, worse draft year in decades
Do you think it will be as bad as last year? 5 picks in first 4 rounds!
They will be top 4 rounds. So yes. It will be better.
I would say better then add Edger, Forwell, Dunn, Murray, Hayes and Nutting. That's a possible 15 or even more of 82 picks in the first 4 rounds.
Nutting - not talented (teams know of his mother already)
Forwell - midget (wont happen)
Dunn- possible
Murray - Later based on skating ability and he's injury prone
Hayes - yes, good possibility.
There are a few that no doubt will go early but by February kids will come out of no where, some will fade and remember the draft means you get invited to a camp. I’m seeing plenty of later round 08 picks getting signed to education and development packages so everyone chill. It’s a long road. The craziest parents are always the ones that have never played and get way too wrapped up on in the BS.

Hey Donkey,
I think the point made is you can’t predict in September other than a few.
Make sure Jr is ready for grade 10 tomorrow so he can get a job one day.

Absolutely no way we get 15 in the top 4 rounds but there will definitely be more than 5. The 08s were a brutal draft year for the alliance.
Wycisk, McLaughlin, Hendersen, Hayes, Wood, Lappalainan, Edgar, Dunn and maybe Lisi and Wildfong should all be locks. The first two being first rounders. The rest of the kids mentioned would be a stretch ahead of the fourth unless they have a huge year when you consider all of the G will probably have like 30+ of the 82, OMHA have a good 20 or so guys that are legit and the HEO/HNO having a few gems as well

I've been watching all you meatheads from afar for years, I can't wait to be there when the bubble bursts! Thank you for being quality entertainment. Not sure what you're going to do next with your lives. I feel bad for some of you, who will feel absolutely lost.
