Re: 2009 Alliance
The scouts were bored as sh*t though, half of them left and were overheard at the lil Beav talking about how bad this draft class is. Few snickers about the HPL coach too. Oh and you dads who try to chat up the scouts, they see right through you. Have a good finish to the season.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 8:26 amYou must have been the fat jealous dad watching the game with your kid

Re: 2009 Alliance
Take aways from yesterday’s game.
Alliance solidified itself as the worst AAA loop in Ontario
An above poster mentioned shockers at HPL coach. That’s real. He isn’t respected in the hockey community at all.
Few scouts mentioned you could have thrown anyone in the game as the parity is the same across the board with very few standouts.
For those getting multiple points in the alliance. They also see that it’s a weak league where points are expected.
Scouts realize the importance of the mergers that will happens so that less kids will play at the highest levels and only those that deserve it will play.
That’s all.

Re: 2009 Alliance
The kid that went is -400 on the year and has registered zero points. Every time we play him it’s turnover after turnover.

Nice to see the Alliance spent 36 cents on the “prospects” jerseys. Did they collect them at the end to with their solid coloured socks.
