Hey everyone, I'm curious if anyone has any experience with the 2009 AAA Young Nats team. What are your thoughts on the organization, the coaching, and overall development? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

He broke his own record
Head shot, head shot, kneeing. Kid is heading to the OHL on a fourth line 5 year plan (on 3 teams)
Why would he lose it against such a weak team? Just kills his own team over and over again. Great Captain!!
What happened now?
Someone is dealing with jealousy issues.
Was having a great tournament. Just can't figure it out mentally. Such wasted talent.
So true. So easy to distract. Nothing game but gets baited and gets suspended. Hope they don’t need him in the round of 16

It's a joke how the Titans matched themselves up with the weakest teams in Ontario in the name of a "showcase tournament"?

32-0 goal differential.
85 combined points in 3 games.
What's the showcase in that?

I'm sure the scouts are feeling good about having wasted their time to come see draft-worthy players face basement competition. Might as well watch them play video games.

I mean - that's what they're ultimately looking for right? Players who can excel with no competition? Jokes.

I will say one thing though. Those yellow Titans jerseys sure do hide the peepee stains well.

Give the scouts some credit. They don’t bother with these early TT games.

They will be a top team by the end of the year just ask the parents from last year's U16 team slow to start but boy what a finish.

Hey everyone, does anyone know if there are any spots still available on AAA 2009 teams? I know a really talented kid whose family just moved here from Russia, and they’re looking for a spot. Any info would be much appreciated!

And 3-5 spot can out play each other on any given night but 1 & 2 are a lock for their best players.

PG77 better then any D mentioned here.
LM is not TT top D. The Ottawa kid will be with GY.

PG and CB are better than CS and RW for DMF.

VK best D is the east coast kid.

From what I saw, the east coast kid is trying hard but so far he doesn't seem to be adapting to the higher level of play. He gave up a bunch of odd man rushes to the worst team in the G because he was playing like the fourth F. Think about what that will look like against the top 6. If he doesn't start playing D and MOVING THE PUCK QUICKLY instead of trying to rush it out himself he's going to be responsible for a lot of goals against when VK plays good G teams. Easy to be Bobby Orr playing against house league teams in NFLD, but that kind of play will keep his team down in the G standings and hurt his team mates. He needs to stop playing for himself and start playing for the team or drop down to AA where that kind of play is expected.

They have the same problems with the other D they got from HP.

Pass the puck guys. Your job is to get the puck out of your zone as quickly and safely as possible, not to have it on your stick when it crosses the blue line.
