that's what often happens at these tournaments, this one in particular. Kids get the puck and dont pass because they want the goals.
some kids.
others play like a team. Toronto Pro Hockey looked like a team to me.
PHD weren't particularly good. They'll crash when it matters. In this game, Montreal were simply really bad. Goalie couldn't stop a beach ball, skaters looked like they'd just put their skates on for the first time since their U10 season ended.
What a stupid comment.
Montreal played well, TPH played better. It was a solid game until the end.
Detroit looks incredible, Minnesota looks solid, but couldn't get any offense going.
TBD look awful, no passing, lazy back checking, lazy in the corners. Sask looked fine, but outworked TBD everywhere on the ice. One or two skilled kids, but will likely win with effort and system if they do anything serious in the tournament.
"what a stupid comment." the go-to of anyone who gets easily offended on a site that is all about offending people
what's more stupid by the way? Offending a PHD fan, or being the dad who sits in Edmonton on his fat ass, reading all the stuff everyone is saying about the brick teams whilst his kid gets battered on the ice?

No, it was just a stupid comment. Montreal wasn't bad, and their goalie wasn't bad. Both comments = STUPID

"Montreal played well" - ok Montreal dad.
PHD danced around them and moved the puck, MTL looked like they hadn't ever learned how to pass - their last powerplay was every single player trying to score on their own by going to the net. and whoever wrote "Goalie couldn't stop a beach ball, skaters looked like they'd just put their skates on for the first time since their U10 season ended" is absolutely on point; no need to pretend otherwise, we all watched it in the mall, or on the live feed. Team needs to go have a heavy behind closed doors talk about what sport they're actually in Edmonton to play.

Instant reply from loser Dad who has no money to go and do anything better in between games in Edmonton. Sit and click update on MHT.
Let me guess... Goalie's papa? Must be as you pointed out the goalie comment specifically. Sorry your son was sh*t buddy. Like the leafs fans say - next year is his year!
PHD is good and I don’t know a soul on the team. They’re good. I heard some folks say they could win the whole thing but i don’t think so after seeing Detroit
