My kids in KSL last year, and this year coming. But, lets be honest - these kids would have been the same kids on these teams anyways. KSL didn't magically make anyone "way better"
But I do think it shows that typically, high level players and their parents have a preference to play full ice, full rules, and keeping score type of hockey.
Not sure what else it tells us? I agree with an earlier poster that it "preps" them better for tryouts. The KSL kids looked more comfortable in the tryout we went to - I don't know who all made the team, but I'd assume 95% are KSL kids.

All of them are going to be 99% KSL folks. Is that going to be true for Toronto based teams? I don't know, but fu_ck the G, who cares about those cu_nts

There is no secret sauce, if you read up you’ll see that I agreed with the person who said “they were more prepared”
They’ve been in a more intense and rigorous structure than house league and MD.
From some of our KSL teammates I can say every one of them made an AAA team. I think you’re salty cause your kid was an MD cut.

Re: 2015 AAA
KSL is great if you want to spend a lot of money and travel all over and be surrounded by egomaniacs who think their kid is elite. MD team, can be awesome as long as you play for a coach with a high hockey IQ. Coaching is number one. KSL kids get more exposure and hockey is about politics so that’s why more of them make it in first year.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2024 9:04 pmGet your 9 year olds name out to the hockey community, make sure to blast their highlight reel on insta. Re: 2015 AAA
Most GTHl will be KSL heavy next year. Full teams have come over to KSL and a lot of single kids as well. NYHL will like be dried out of talent.
