all 3 of those teams have a core that have been together for multiple seasons and are well coached. unlike some of the G, all 3 of those teams will likely stick together for u11 and develop as a group.

What makes you think Waxers will be comparable to WW or even YSE?
I can't see how Stouffville and a few Waxer MD kids makes for a good team.

WW is the Young Kings
YSE is mostly the NS plus a few MD kids.
COW will probably be solid - they are the other half of the NS, some of the YKEO and a few Kawartha Canucks
A/P and "North Shore" are likely going to be solid - a bunch of Junior Wings and Kings and some mustangs.

But Waxers!? lol Garbage.

Only one good team in the OMHA and that is WW.

Guest wrote: Mon Apr 29, 2024 12:21 pm you guys are idiots. that would be a team budget of $255k. $150k would be the top end of the budgets out there, which works out to max $10k/player if they went short. I'm sure you all had a team budget emailed to you last year, open the email and have your boss explain to you what the numbers mean.
$150k divided by 11 (10 skaters and a goalie) = $13 600 per player

Assuming they don't make the goalie pay, or its reduced costs: ~$15 000 per player

Doesn't sound like they are far off with the $17 000 assuming there were some extra things, maybe an expensive coach, etc.
10 skaters and a goalie? This isn't the 3on3 chat. There are ZERO teams in AAA going with 10 and a Goalie. Almost every team is going 9/6/2.
No top teams will go 9/6/2

They would be in for a rough ride if that's the case. Top MD teams in the area are from North Durham & Whitby. None of the York Simcoe teams are remotely close.

Highly doubt YSE will be comparable to WW or Northshore. Barrie will be solid as well.

Well, that’s not too far from truth as a general rule. However they practice very individual approach in their pricing strategy.

How much their twin brothers and competitors for 11th spot in the league from MM charge?

In TRW at least Marty is a reasonable and helpful guy with whom you can cooperate through the year.
In MM you’ll face a hockey loser with only relevant experience in a scam Metropolitan League. He was lucky to have some decent kids last year, but switched on the mode of Middle Eastern tyrant from Sasha Baron Cohen movie, so the kids left for other teams .everyone was fed up with his constant lying and inconsistency. In April that movie tyrant found out that no one is impressed with his tricks a started to run around in search of anybody to fill the roster. Best he could do was to find some midlevels from MHL whose parents were ready to pay for extra practices
Post above author was cut from MM and then relocated to TRW. Fact. Calling MM coach a tyrant and TRW Marty reasonable is laughable.

Tbh OMHA should dissolve Waxers. MM already exist in that area and Waxers have not produced talent since Stamkos.
