How does that relate to anything? Do you find the overall calibre of play this week to be low end? Just as many 2014 boys played up in AAA with the 2013s as 2015 and 16 kids.

But let me guess- you have a buddy that’s an nhl scout telling you that.

It was actually the 2013s that had 1 boy break the scoring record. So based on that- the 2013s must have all been so weak to allow that. I can’t imagine the 2014-16 cohort will have a hard time breaking into the OHL/nhl eventually so your point is just pointless.

Take a look- only Toronto and Montreal seem to suck. And there isn’t 1 kid running away with points like in previous years. Seems like decent quality hockey.
Pusateri had 2 total points the year he played with the 2013's - 2 assists. He didn't even score a goal. That is not impressive at all and he did not make an impact. The only All Star teams are the First and Second team, which he did not make. The Canada vs USA "all stars" are chosen by each teams coach, only means that he was liked by his coach and was one of 3 kids his coach picked to play in that game. That is not an all star. Watched him play 2013 last year and he was a third pair defence man.

3 x 2014 kids played up in 2013 last year and I was told he embarrassed himself. So basically 2 that are just hanging in there. The 2015 age group is not even comparable to the depth of that one. If you had any experience in minor hockey, this wouldn't be such a surprise to you.

Saying things like 2015's will make the OHL is a ridiculous argument, of course kids from the age group will have to progress, but it will be like the '99 NHL draft. A few decent players and a lot of stinkers. Again, I'm in Edmonton right now with my son. There are a lot of kids playing here who if they had played in a tournament the calibre of the 2012 or 2013 one would not even make any Brick team, some of the Ontario kids especially.
He was a second-team all star with the 2013s. Maybe you are referring to the oldest brother. But the 2014 kid played up with the 2013s and made second-team all star.
Shows how little you and your nhl scout buddies know. Your 2012 ankle burner isn’t going anywhere. His cohort isn’t superior. Lol

Guest wrote: Wed Jul 02, 2025 6:40 am You can say all you want about the Bulldogs and their program or lack thereof but the bottom line is that this is their business and it’s thriving!

If they win, great, if they lose, great. It’s all irrelevant as there are a bunch of 2016 moms and dads getting ready to do as you all did last year and line up for the Bulldogs and Pro Hockey camps.

This will undoubtedly go down as the worst Bulldogs team ever assembled for the Brick. Sad but true.
May be one of the worst all time teams in the history of the tournament itself.
The main issue I see in watching this team is they are bad at hockey at every position. Most importantly, they have some players who don't impact the play at all. These players have been these kinds of players throughout their minor hockey careers. So this is on the team selection. RL, TR, TP, BG are the ones that really stand out as completely ineffective.
BG was masked in Whitby by others , he looked at at the time cause he had absolute studs all around him.

Now when the stakes get slightly higher (like dads socks) he can't handle it at all. Ankle burner who just grew before others , AA within 2 years
You're a loser to comment on a parent's sock height. Just a petty loser.
You must be BGs mom hahahahaha. Facts are facts, this is hockey not running around trying to hump other men on grass

check his stats 2 assists in 7 games

you're just angry that your kid couldn't make it in the weakest age group in 10 years

Your source misled you. Pusateri was al all star as an underager with the 2013s. No underager will dominate this year. Those 2013s must be weak.

And Tep was an All star as an underager vs the 2012s. Looks like those boys are the dominant all stars either way every kid lost a year to covid.

You are just looking for excuses for why your kids team sucks.

I saw KP play this spring and he holds his own but is not exceptional. Miller the Detroit coach has even said this 2015 crop in North America is not as developed as the older age groups were at the same age because of Covid. He also said this age group has the weakest group of players in Ontario he has seen in any age group.

Nice fake link that doesn't open. Tep was not an all star as an underage either. He had 3 points (all assists) in 6 games.

You just don't want to admit your kid got cut from a weak age group.

lol. Your kid is dust and you are looking for excuses. A dozen 2015 kids are head and shoulders better than your kid pack and bottom boys. That’s why you can’t buy a win and will get smoked 10-0 by Detroit.

Read it and weep Dad. 2nd team All-Star (not a generic pool play award). You know nothing. He got way more than 2 points and your kid will end the tournament with 0-1 points max.
