2014 GTHL AA WEST
Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
B45's bringing 5-7 kids either bad AAA team or a mid level AA team. Coach for the 45's is a nutcase. Trying to play player agent and make these back room deals. Problem is he's told 4 different teams he's bringing the core... lol b45 hockey is dead
Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
Yesterday ST confirmed that they have the weirdest coaching staff and parent group. While even WML recorded their second win and experienced overall improvement, ST not only showed 0 hockey iq and recorded one of the biggest losses in the league, but their coaches also likely asked their kid to simulate an injury. at the end of the game one of their baby boys decided to fight with TE kid and attacked him from the back.

ST parents need to start reaching out to get out of there. I'll take that over being affiliated with the MOB any day.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 8:33 amI mean they got clubbed 8-0Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 8:19 am Yesterday ST confirmed that they have the weirdest coaching staff and parent group. Neither MB nor ST is my team. We've played 3-4 games against each of them this season.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 9:33 amI'll take that over being affiliated with the MOB any day.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 8:33 amI mean they got clubbed 8-0Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 8:19 am Yesterday ST confirmed that they have the weirdest coaching staff and parent group. Honestly, I don't understand the obsession with MB. I like their coaches—they’re young, easygoing, and seem to have an approach that kids would enjoy. The team is competitive enough, though not the strongest. I don’t know much about the MOB or their dynamics, but I’ve never heard them yelling at other parents or kids from the stands. From an outsider’s perspective, they just look like a group of moms in hoodies with funny abbreviations—nothing more. I noticed that even when they lost a game, kids left the arena smiling. That was an important sign.
On the other hand, ST’s coaches look gloomy and always look dissatisfied. They shout constantly—at the kids and at referees. Some parents are aggressive, too, often yelling at referees, with one blue jacket warrior standing out as the loudest. Some of the moms even get into arguments with moms from other teams. The kids on the team seem nervous, which leads to unnecessary fights on the ice.
The results speak for themselves: the team is at the bottom of the standings. They’ve gone from playing us 1-1 earlier in the season to losing 0-8 just 2 months later. Yesterday, they even gave up a goal while on a 5-on-3 power play. That clearly shows the kids aren’t comfortable and confident—and the coaches and parents are to blame.
I really can’t see why anyone would choose ST over MB.
Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
MB coaches are great, good younger guys who actually know the game. ST coaches have no structure. The MB parents tho you can chirp the MOB all you want isn't that what you want? Parents who actually get along with each other? ST parents scream every game and most of it is because little no names is playing a level he probably shouldn't be playing. MB is good not great but ST is just awful to watch. Looks the same now as when they were MHL.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 10:23 amNeither MB nor ST is my team. Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
I have to disagree. MB have terrible coaches and terrible parent group. This getting along that you speak of is a bunch of fake phoney obnoxious people who think all their kids are “AAA” who end up turning on each other.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 1:00 pmMB coaches are great, good younger guys who actually know the game. They all need to get a grip. I’ve watched how they interact during a game and after. Not all kids are smiling!

Seems the MOB is already sitting separately already lol wonder if some of them came to their senses!Guest wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 10:02 pmI have to disagree.
