2014 GTHL AA WEST
Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
Every season, ST looks for a new scapegoat. Strong players leave and thrive elsewhere, while your team keeps sinking. Instead of blaming parents, maybe it's time to look at the coaches. Ask yourself why the players aren’t improving—neither individually nor as a team—why referees dislike your team, and why kids prefer to stay in TE, MB, MT, and even WML and FT, but leave ST the first chance they get. No family from Mississauga familiar with your team would ever willingly join.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 11:33 am The ST situation isn’t all that bad you get rid of the one insane dad and the whole situation improves 300%

This is what happens when you have a parent who is a total nut running the show behind the scenes. And now that his best buddy has wrestled coaching control of the team ST will be a dumpster fire for the rest of this age groups time playing.

s it true that many kids are planning to leave FT and ST, and that both teams are specifically looking for a new goalies and defenders because Tigers goalie is returning to VR?
Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
Tigers don’t need a second goalie Daddy will just play his pylon all yearGuest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 11:46 am s it true that many kids are planning to leave FT and ST, and that both teams are specifically looking for a new goalies and defenders because Tigers goalie is returning to VR?

Your a pylon for coming on this site and talking shit about his kid !
Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
I don’t know much, but it’s reasonable to assume that many kids from both teams—especially goalies and defenders—have limited options. In ST, they have around 5-7 coaches, which likely means there are at least that many, if not more, coaches' kids on the team. Some are probably friends' kids as well—baby boys who can't play independently without their fathers' support and supervision. I’d imagine that those who live far away, are individually skilled, or are underagers might want to leave for better opportunities, while the rest will likely stay. Probably no more than 3-4 players per team will move on.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 2:14 pmTigers don’t need a second goalie Daddy will just play his pylon all yearGuest wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 11:46 am s it true that many kids are planning to leave FT and ST, and that both teams are specifically looking for a new goalies and defenders because Tigers goalie is returning to VR?
I wasn’t aware that the ST coach is a goalie’s father. In that case, I can see the other goalie leaving (though I doubt VR still wants him). He could always go to WML, a well-structured team that just needs a goalie to start winning. Meanwhile, the remaining one will be left alone next season.

Like I said before you don’t have clue about what’s going on pylon! WM needs a lot more than just a goalie lol
