Paying Agents
Re: Paying Agents
best $3,000 I ever spent - my kid got a ton of looks and went from select to solid A club.
Re: Paying Agents
Wow quite the pissing match here. Most top agencies are recruiting top kids 13-15. If they wait till 18 their all taken, its that simple. Y funnel business model put in 100 kids at the top and pro deals will come out. Its simple economics and business model! If a top agency has 500 Mil TO 1 bil US of clients at 4-5% 20-50 mil income that you will spend a portion of offering your services to young kids. Not to be condescending to the basher on here but its a part of hockey that 98% of parents will never come across at the ages of 13-16! Do your DD as a parent or poster on here is all i say. What a agency can offer you in terms of training, nutrition sports phycology ect as a parent would cost you $1000's

Re: Paying Agents
you should not be paying if your kid is spotted by a agentGuest wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 4:11 pm New to this. What agencies are out there and what are they charging?
watching games he/she will contact you either via the coach
or directly, this generally happens at u14 or maybe u13 if kid is a stud. Good agencies include but not in any particular order are Newport, Octagon, Caa, Wasserman, Quartexx
There are some more but make sure they are NHLPA
plenty floating around that are not.
Re: Paying Agents
They are parasites but good because they are desperate to get into the game. Take them for what you can get, give them nothing.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 10:04 am What about "advisors"?
Re: Paying Agents
If you aren't looking for OHL route, but thinking NCAA is there a material difference between Agent and Advisor? Thought you couldn't have an "Agent" because of compensation structure if you were going NCAAGuest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2024 10:04 am What about "advisors"?
