My son was cut for JB … I was livid at time as I didn’t think he belonged anywhere near AAA at time and thought my son did … the work that kid has put in to be where he is. Kudos to him … if he keeps it going with the progress he has shown in last two years than the game will have a place for him and he will do real well in the GTHL.

Most goalies this age are not good (including the ones you think are) … they are about 3 to 5 years behind in development vs your player kids remember as they don’t start playing their position until years after starting hockey as a player. They are developing … you don’t really know what you have in any goalie until they hit puberty and grow and learn to play to their new adult size … kids now are just developing skills to allow them to build the hockey IQ to apply them to their size in a couple years.

Stop judging goalies at U12 and just appreciate the ones that are willing to work at their craft as they grow.
LOL, you know JB dad wrote this. What a nut job.

all the kids are still developing and its U12 hockey.

I would be interested to know how many AA players are ready to make the jump to AAA?

often there will be a lot of change in levels when transitioning from U12/U13 to U14 as contact changes everything.
Top kid U13 and below will slowly fade away because they are small and scared of the bigger kids.

so again I would like to see who is making the Jump from AA to AAA next season.

I totally agree with this, high turn over more than likely possible as a lot of this age group seem small.
I am interested to see if coaching prepares for this by taking a chance on some kids with size this year at tryouts before the contact starts, giving them the year to get up to game speed. Def a interesting offseason for sure, I'm interested to see how it all plays out, feel many parents are keeping things close to their chest about switching teams so they don't effect rest of the current year, could be some surprising kids changing teams outside of the ones already rumored to be on the move.

Which teams will be better next season with new coaching and player changes?

QRD's - still top team even with the loss of #9 and #87 along with some other cuts.

KG - losses their top goal scorer 28 and one of there better Dman to QRD’s

BB – This team was coming together nicely but a number of players may jump to the GTHL.

YSE – No luck of the Irish here, #7 getting the boot again and one of their best D #79 is going to GTHL.

WW – Going all in and scooping the better players from teams like NSW – #19, #73 and #9 with COW’s #58

PP – New coach and a return of a QRD cut doesn’t make much of a difference here.

NSW – Best players leaving and a few other will stray to other teams. This maybe a last place team next season.

COW – Best goalie leaving to play as a backup in the GTHL. Best Dman and maybe a forward jump to other teams keeps this group in the bottom three.

AP – New coach, same problem parent group. It’s going to be hard to recruit any good players here. No change.

NCP – Player or two may go to Barrie or YSE. Still a bad team.

MW – New coach may help, but who wants to go to Markham? They will battle NSW for last place.

Thanks for your opinion SC ( BC dad ) we know you are leaving and we don't care. You have been toxic for this team since U9 don't let the door hit you on the way out. how many phone books did you have to sit on to see over the computer desk to write this message?

I think you mean QRD’s #19 is going back to PP.
