The two kids we picked up from Barrie were their weakest players cut the first round of tryouts because Barrie has a new coach so their dads couldn’t protect them by being on the coaching staff.
Don’t let our summer tournament results trick you. Our coach puts us in AA tournaments. We didn’t win a single game last winter in all our tourneys we went in.
Our team will never be successful. Despite numerous complaints to omha. our coaches are best friends with the association. Omha wont step in to help save this dumpster fire. Ncp needs to drop down to AA at all ages to give these kids a chance to be competitive. Let the kids with skill go to other associations so they can be exposed to much better development.

I am CW and my son is CW the goalie who joined last year after one of the 7 quit. I don’t do anonymous.
I find the coaching staff to be quite refreshing … for one reason being that they don’t give in to overbearing parents causing so many to quit when they disagreed with what coaches are doing.
Do I agree with every decision they make? Nope … but I am a goalie dad and not the coach so my opinion only matters to me. More parents need to understand that.
As for slagging on kids like the Barrie kids … lots of cuts happen for different reasons. My kid was cut last year from COW and again this year was granted release … and yet they can’t beat him … we are so thankful to have him back in NCP with this coaching staff, players and player families. Time will tell for all kids where there hockey journey will take them and let’s just enjoy the ride.
