Alliance 2012 Hockey
Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
the real test will be at Silver stick when they go up against the power houses.
Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
The family is a great family. They didn't deserve to be let go. The new kids need in game situation experience to develop and we all know that won't happen.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 11:36 amMaybe not. But what was RD thinking getting rid of that D?Wouldnt have been most peoples pick to let go. He should have kept the D that’s been with our team from the start and just replaced the open D spot. We knew no one could have filled MDs spot. These new kids have a lot of catching up to do. I’m sure they were sold the “you’ll get lots of development on the alliance champions team”Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 11:23 am
EMC roster doesn't matter. Those new kids have no idea what they got themselves into. They won't see the ice against strong teams.

The kids that got cut get to see the ice the paid for.
The kids that left are happier on the teams they join.
The new kids get to say they play AAA.
The coaches kids get to see more ice than they deserve.

Just wait...the true whack jobs will start to emerge as the minor hockey hourglass has more in the bottom than the top.
Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
The kids who left are better off. They’ll have more opportunity where they landed. Hoping for a competitive league for everyoneGuest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 12:13 pmEMC’s choices are a win for all involved.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 11:54 amThe family is a great family. Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
This post is bang on!! I don’t see a reason for them to cut a kid they barely gave ice time to, just to replace him with another kid who they’ll barely give ice time to. But in the end, it’ll work out for majority, if not all.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 12:13 pmEMC’s choices are a win for all involved.Guest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 11:54 amThe family is a great family. Chathams the team to beat next season. So much grit - and talent - with that group. Fantastic coaching. I think EMC will drop. Doesn’t matter how good their top few players are, they can no longer carry that team. They’ll have to develop the bottom half a lot more or find their way back to team play.

Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
Chatham and LJK is hitting the target with their coaches. Elgin is missing the mark, too many politics involved at all age groups, excellent coaches are passed for mediocre ones who don’t develop the whole team. Look at the bench for the upcoming u11 team this yearGuest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 2:51 pm24/25 predictionGuest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 1:51 pmThis post is bang on!! Silverstick is in January all teams should be at top form but I still don’t see any teams competing to win that tournamentGuest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 11:37 am the real test will be at Silver stick when they go up against the power houses.
Re: Alliance 2012 Hockey
Can we just give it a rest until next season? I’ve never seen a group talk down this much to their own kids lol
