Listen, NHL is a big leap. However, Kid gets the label as a ‘Brick’ kid, thus can choose his AAA team, guaranteed to be captain, play on spring/summer teams of his choice , free skates with the best trainers, reduced fees, spot on provincial teams, Basically sets you up for OHL or Div1 program. If you don’t go to the Beick, the road is almost impossible.

Are we really thinking Div 1 and NHL now?

Anyone know what the deal is with Bulldogs? My kid got offered a AAA spot, aren’t there two elite teams this year? I figured the first elite team is just Erlichs JRC core but who’s the second elite team? Is there even one?

Bulldogs tryouts were a joke. A lot of talent passed on for weaker kids. I guess that’s what happens when you have 60 players on the ice at the same time. The evaluators must have been drinking up in the bar.

Everyone Wants their kids on Elite teams but it doesn’t always work out.
