There will be some wholesale changes for atleast the MHL teams. The grapevine suggests that Applewood top kids are going to AA and West Mall. That leaves space which is most likely being filled by other A teams like Heartland. The Heartland team is going to lose its top kids since no one likes the coach there and he has lost the team basically. Port Credit may lose a few…the worst team to be on will be Heartland. Port credit and Applewood would be decent.
Its seems like a lot of players are looking for new teams or are kids committed but want to see what else is out there? Do all teams still have spots?
Port Credit is full. The teams available are Applewood and Dragons ( MHL). Dragons are a team where coach’s son and 3-4 friends get all the ice time and still lose. There have been many complaints and kids have left mid season. Applewood is getting new coach, so who knows how they are going to be. But maybe better than Dragons who are at the bottom with lot of drama/complaints.

Don't know where this is coming from Coach is a non parent coach. Team is relatively intact finished 2nd in the playoffs. I heard some good kids committed

Get this. Every year there have been multiple complaints and one of their kids left the team after 1 month. There were complaints last year as well where people complained to league about playing time. Kids getting bullied in the dressing room.. They were short a player whole year. They pretty much lost all games emphatically ( other than beating DD). Go there if you want to see drama and work with coach who has no plans at all.

Erindale will be strong AA derbies coach and core moving down to take that team. Applewood a gong show and probably won’t put a team together. They blew up and have nobody. If they do it’s an 0-36 season. Heartland if you want the worst experience of your kids life. West mall AA regrouping and looks like they took all the top
A kids from what I saw at tryouts.

Anyone want to take a best guess and do a ranking of how teams will end up next year? Or at least a top 3 and a bottom 3?

I know the east has 14 teams. LF, FH, and NT should be the top teams. SIR is improving so they might jump up to that top tier. A whole bunch of teams after that. Should be fun.
