This is very frustrating. Stuck with bully coaches and uncaring associations thanks to the no lateral movement rule in the OMHA.
Many people just have leases in Toronto, Vaughan or Mississauga and send their kids to an HPP program in the G boundaries or a private school works also.

"Many"? I think "some" would be a better way to describe it.

In OMHA AAA is only open at U18

Except in 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons they allowed open borders for U14,U15,U16. Any player that left their home centre during those years was not required to go back to their home centre after.
Are you sure? I thought it was open after U14 just need a PTS that is a formality?

Absolutely positive. Trust me, my kid regrets not leaving the one and only year he was able to (2022-2023).

Centres should have to release players, the rules should be more defined on the receiving end
