Congrats my Aurora friends. Looks like you never have to play in Aurora ever again!

Bad news is that Newmarket won't take imports.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 1:45 pm Congrats my Aurora friends. Looks like you never have to play in Aurora ever again!

Re: Aurora Hockey
Christmas came early this year. I love how the AMHA is completely ignoring this, instead of addressing it head on. Not surprised though, since they were one of a few associations who voted against it.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 1:45 pm Congrats my Aurora friends. Re: Aurora Hockey
So what happens now, do we have a town hall meeting where we tell the association publicly all of the ways they have negatively affected our families? Or is there like a spokesperson that will read off letters for us? Do we leave our coaches jackets in the lobby of ACC? Just curious how this works.
Re: Aurora Hockey
If you're MM just leave hockey all together, we'll dispose of your coaches jacket via a town bonfire. In all seriousness, the association doesn't care what we have to say, they never have. you can send your emails, complain to anyone who will listen, and scream it from the mountain tops. the sad realization of it all is nothing will change. Only option really is to just leave.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 3:07 pm So what happens now, do we have a town hall meeting where we tell the association publicly all of the ways they have negatively affected our families? You can tell that nmha is scared:
"While there are no restrictions on the number of ‘non-resident’ players under this new policy, the NMHA wholeheartedly believes in the concept of ‘Hometown Hockey,’ and feel we have a responsibility to our local players and membership, while also considering all options to maintain a thriving and competitive rep program at all levels."

Re: Aurora Hockey
My prediction is it will require 51% of Rep teams are hometown players, but never actually enforce it because that’s a nightmare. It will all smooth itself out over time.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 4:28 pm You can tell that nmha is scared:
