Has the G ever shut down a team mid season?
Is there a point to the Avs playing in the new year?
Just shut them down. Refund some money and keep the practice time for the kids to get a skate in.
Maybe see if they can move to select?
Not really fair to anyone to keep playing. It's not a good situation.
I wish them the best, but it's painful.

Yeah, not sure anyone can argue that at the moment. They just won the tournament with pretty much all the top teams there.

Wolves vs Rangers this friday, I take rangers to win 7-4 as goaltending has been an issue however they are in form right now going 3-1-1 in Silver stick

Rangers will easily take this game against TW 4-0 is my prediction. And for those saying WML is the best team in Ontario, they are hardly a top 3 team in the loop. Had an easy route to the finals in the Silver Stick. Wml did not even top their group, tied two games against the 6/8 team in the west and the 8/12 team in the east. Had one good game against a third-place team in the east. The finals should've been VP. A game VP dominated but WML got lucky. Time will tell but it is clear to many that both HVS and TR are better. Gotta love when VP or VR has grapes sour grapes about LOSING, as was said earlier at least they did not start a brawl after losing this time. VP had an easy draw (VRE, NYK, TA, VRE again, TE). Finals should have gone to VP? Dominated? Then VP should have earned the win by actually winning the game and the tournament. Let me guess, they dominated last year in the finals as well? And for the record, the 3rd place team in the east is MI, the overall best team in the entire East or West but you fail to mention that. LOL - VP had an even easier route to the finals. The played in the weakest division in the Silver Stick, with VR East and Avs, and then got a gift playing NYKs (depleted roster). Dont think WML is that good either but I will give them credit where it is due. No players that stand on the team to me besides the bottom 1-2 players just a good well-rounded team that works well together. A hard-working group that has coaching that really wants to win. Are a successful team and will continue to be successful just do not believe they are the best team in the loop or Ontario.
