Recruiting not going to plan. The brass not so thrilled.

One minor factor to consider, next season will not have open borders. Releases will not be given out so freely for the U-16 year, especially with the recording circulating from a parent meeting, of a certain someone stating that imports are a non-issue and there are always ways to bend the rules.

BOOM!
Everyone does it. How many kids from APR play on APR? Maybe Whitby should of done something to stop the mass exodus to APR for this age group a couple of years ago. WW board knew what was happening and did nothing. Now they attempt to do the same thing and got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

KABOOM
A little different. Those players left through open borders and are good players. Import names rumoured to be going to Whitby to take spots from local players are laughable. Bottom CT players, bottom COW players, bottom OG players, bottom MM players. New coach is moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
Even Mid OG and CT Players are needing a new AAA home after the merge. WW probably won't have space for bottom kids from any org.

APR did it in a year of open borders. No organization could do anything if players wanted to see if the grass was greener on the other side. There were no rules being bent. A little different this season with closed borders, and the circulating recording.

WW Brass not happy with the lack of recruiting success for next season. Big promises made, with results yet to show.

Early commitment to the 9th Forward on the current team, should paint a very clear picture of what next year will look like.

Coach never played so he needs somebody that has some playing experience

Thats a great reason for an early commitment to the 9th forward on the current team. Makes complete logical sense.
