Yowzas! Well at least we know the parents of the kid who got cut are psychos who read the comments on here!
Whatever you say. There is a reason why 99% of last years team wanted nothing to do with you. Yes some were drafted, and some are playing Jr but All could have returned and dominated U18AAA if you had any clue as to what you were doing.
You have had two extremely talented teams and done nothing with them. Any experienced coach would have been in the OMHA Finals.

Question here.

Why would any player who is jr.a quality stay and play midget again?

Those 2 kids who have played in kingston this year definitely would of been better served going to the Hill Academy…

Understand the sentiment but logically not much makes sense here

1) when factoring in tournaments, gas and meals it’s cheaper to play jr. Minor hockey all in runs around 10k. Very few jr programs charge that.

2) icetime, you’re correct

3) I guess there’s a chance but with only 3 rounds, there will be few to no 05s picked this year. Last year was a double cohort due to Covid and even then, few 04s picked

4) friends makes sense but do these kids want to be hockey players or not? There’s a lot of sacrifice that goes into moving up in sports, social life is one

5) graduating makes sense. However even billeted players are home to graduate by June

6) everyone want to win a championship but only one team can win. Being a second year midget player isn’t always guaranteeing you’ll be on a good team.

7) don’t be so sure. In another year you have another group of players moving into junior eligibility. Teams may opt for what’s seen as a more talented younger player.

In my opinion the only determining factor whether playing midget over junior should be ice time. If you want to be a hockey player the other things don’t matter. Just one dads opinion

Heard he was a 'no show' again last night at NCP playoff game without telling anyone. Easily missed 1/3 to 1/2 of practices / games this season. What kind of a coach does that?
Tough to respect a person who doesn't honor his commitment!

He was the same last year. Missed every game to watch his kid play in the OJ.

Takes money for spots on team, what do you expect? What’s his playoff record last two seasons?

Looks like this fan isn’t getting his wish

APR and OG very close to booking spots in omha’s again. Barrie looks very ordinary all of a sudden and has markhams luck run out?
