COW will be the top team of OMG, WW and CT. That’s saying something

Won’t be much competition in ETA this year. Sad, last season it was the top division in U 18 in province
There was still a bit of a COVID log jam, kids playing another yr of Jr C or B instead in of quitting, a lack of movement kept some better kids at U18.

But not the case anymore. Add the fact that last yrs U16 ETA was extremely weak and most of the coaches at U18 are washed up and can’t coach, what do you expect? It’s a disaster waiting to happen.
To point about alliance. OMG finished 6th in ETA. Lost to Waterloo in 3 on 3 in semi final of Peterborough tourney. Then lost twice to EMC in Telus regional in 3 on 3 onetime. Alliance plays 3 on 3 OT all year. OMG also beat Windsor 6-1 then lost in 3 on 3 OT.

Was only team to beat jrc in regulation at OHFs. Proves ETA’s depth last year

Waterloo beat APR in 2 tournament finals. and OMG won the OMHA’s. beat everyone. who cares where they finished in regular season.
And no one is good at 3 on 3 OT. EMC up by 2 late in both games. Refs at Telus were horrendous. JRC out played OMG all 60 minutes. Goalie was unbelievable.
Since you know the details you should probably add that OMG’s back up goalie played against Waterloo and both games against EMC.

Argument is about depth, not the best 1-2 teams. Alliance had 2 teams, G had 1. Let’s not pretend APR, QRD or even BC couldn’t of gone to OHF’s and done well too.

"back-up." EMC outplayed OMG both games.. And EMC back up was also in for both games LOL.. Did APR have their back-up in? Waterloo beat OMG and APR twice. EMC beat OMG twice. Not pretending ETA wouldnt have done well.. Windsor also went to the finals of Telus regional (They had massive home town advantage, so wont overstate their success). Kitchener also VERY good. Beat Barrie twice. ETA typically better then alliance. Just not last year.

Alliance was ? Waterloo won Peterborough and Gold Puck and lost finals in Big Nickel. Elgin won the Alliance, won US tournament and finals in Titans early bird. Also beat OMG twice in Telus Regional. Kitchener also won Blue line tournament. Jr Canadiens were the best team GTHL was surprisingly thin. ETA 2nd best
top 3 teams in alliance were 12-1 against ETA last year haha

In Whitby it’s the 10% rule. CR takes his cut if any fundraising or vendor used. No wonder everyone leaves

Will the SC era be more successful than the FLJ era?

Not a chance. SC is not a good coach and is unstable to say the least. My prediction is that alot of these kids wont play after this season because of the shitty experience they are in for.
