MP for U14! This is a complete JOKE! Absolute JOKE of a coach, good luck kids because you're not going to learn a GD thing.
Who is coaching U18 the rest of this season and if next years U18 coach is JC, we won’t be back
A guy with a record like JC cannot be hired again, he released many good players or players left as they chose Kamha over the dysfunctional GK, why B is ST and PM still existing.
When will coaches be picked? Predictions for the 2025 u10group? Whatever happened to non parent coaches? Parents who coach also just favour their own kids over the team it’s sickening
MP for U16?
Terrible coach

Don't forget KG, nice guy but his hockey knowledge is questionable. He will save the day at U14 next year

Guest wrote: Tue Nov 19, 2024 8:23 am Where's the executive's response to this shit show. They usually have an answer to everything - and make it justifiable. Another top player left, good for him. Yet I feel sorry for the kids - and parents that have spent a fortune on travel, to play games like they did this past weekend. Good luck in the Montreal tournament coming up - that will be a long week. Something needs to be done.
Do you really need to ask where the executive is. They are only in it for their own kids. Come one, can't you see that. U16A player gets called up to AAA before AA players. Then U13 need a D and don't even call up U12 best D. Something needs to be done is right.
U16AAA only has 3x APs. Two are at U16A and 1x U16AA who is hurt 50% of the seasons he has played at KAMHA. The "AAA" talent that washed down to AA are their worst players. The top kids on that team aren't anything to write home about. The 2x U16A kids skated the last 2 summers with JC so he must see something? 2009 age group in Kingston has and always will be weak. What the U10 to 12s are doing development wise is what MP / JE / DT should have done when they had this group in their early years. Anyone ever correlated the 3 years of U10 to U12 success to the 3 years CD has been on the board? Those 3 teams will continue to be good and challenge for top 3 spot over the years as long as they can stay together. The Klevr ages playing in Kingston will be a great feeder for GK. Time to write off U13 and up. U13 crapshow and AG holding kids hostage at U13AA. U14 weak birth year. U15 delusional AA parents and kids playing up at a level only JM is capable of playing at. U16 weak birth year. U18 parents ruined those ages over the years. About sums it up. Looking forward to open
Ya ok CD you loser

Snip snip…. It is ok, you will have more fun in AA if you make it
Ok coach you one hit wonder!
Kingston will be just fine this year. Mid pack, big improvement over last years U18 team. Moved out non effective 07's and didn't carry any dead weight 08's.
Good job Champ
U18 won 5 games? Big improvement over last yr? Lmao you win for best comment champ
U18 has 2 fwds and 1 goalie(07) and 1 D (07) who are actual AAA capable players, I can’t blame the coach.
Then who should be to blame? He picked the team! Joke go back to A hockey Champ

Just posted to GK website- Any kid basically only U9 who decided to play unsanctioned hockey this year are no longer allowed by GK to pay for the pre-tryout development skates and are banned from participating in these skates. They are allowed to try out for a team but banned from participating in the predevelopment skates. This is for any age group, but mostly it just affects the nine year old boys (u10aaa) who play with Relm.

Leave it to the greater Kingston hockey organization to discriminate against children under the age of 10 who choose not to play hockey with KAMHA that they are now unable to pay for development skates before their tryouts with GK Hockey. Can someone please call Hockey Canada and have these people whom promote discrimination against kids removed from GK. The fact that GK posted this to their website is completely disgusting.

Anybody involved in the greater Kingston hockey organization with this discriminatory policy against the current nine-year-old boys needs to be removed from their positions immediately!!

Skates is hosted by an OMHA sanctioned centre. OMHA rosters, insurance, etc expires after the OMHA and OHF playdowns which is not until just before tryouts. It's not a GK specific rule, they are following the OMHA rules. Read up on the OMHA and OHF before you start whining. You took the KLEVR route this year so you have to live by and respect the rules set by the OMHA if you'd now like to bring your player back.
