LJK U14AAA
Re: LJK U14AAA
Who did he chase from London that is any good? No one. Not one kid playing outside of London is a difference maker. All average, at best.
There are AA kids he should give a serious look at if he wants to improve the team. Both Green and White have some good players.

DE in Chatham and HP in EMC are both difference makers and would add to the team greatly if they were still there. Who from AA is at the AAA level? Think JB already signed a bunch of them last year...who did he miss?Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 12:50 pm Who did he chase from London that is any good? No one. Re: LJK U14AAA
Didn't DE's dad demand unlimited ice time? A good coach would tell the dad to pound salt, which JB did. Not exactly killing it in Chatham. HP was leaving on his dad's recommendation to get on a better team and he's no difference maker against good AAA kids. JB didn't chase anyone out of London. The pickings are slim. There might be 2 kids in AA who can make it, but that's it. London will have to recruit from outside if they want to improve the team. The main issue as I see it will be coaching.
Re: LJK U14AAA
Didn't hear about the ice time request from the soccer coach...but sounds very believable! If he'd just leave his son to be coached properly I'm sure he'd be a good player. Love the guys that leverage those requests (we'll call it the Bruno Clause!) for their own gain and expect everyone else to pay the same $ and get less. Good on JB for tossing him...keep tearing up the 401 DE!Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 1:11 pm Didn't DE's dad demand unlimited ice time? A good coach would tell the dad to pound salt, which JB did. HP is definitely above average but it seems that team has had its challenges as a whole this season. Maybe a few blockbuster trades are in the mix!? LMAO.
What AA players are doing well this season? I've heard the MW kid that left SS last season is making a push!
Re: LJK U14AAA
From what I see there are about 4 or 5 aa kids on the green team who are totally interchangeable with a number of the aaa players.
Re: LJK U14AAA
Wrong. There are 2 AAA kids playing on the AA team who would be upgrades over the AA kids playing on the AAA team.
Re: LJK U14AAA
Right, 2 would be definite upgrades but a few others are totally interchangeable and likely more skilled players than some of those big kids they took

All the skilled players left London years ago!Guest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 5:54 pm Right, 2 would be definite upgrades but a few others are totally interchangeable and likely more skilled players than some of those big kids they took
Re: LJK U14AAA
The coach switched him to a forward and he looks like a totally different player. He would probably be one of the top few forwards on that AAA team. There's a handful of kids on that green AA team that would make the AAA team better in 1-for-1 "trades", no blockbusters required. There's obviously a reason they are the top ranked AA team by a pretty big margin. When you take size over compete, skill, IQ, etc., what can you really expect? Some pretty obvious misses there.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 1:30 pmDidn't hear about the ice time request from the soccer coach...but sounds very believable! Re: LJK U14AAA
We talking about LL and DE last year? Other than that none of the "skilled" players have gone anywhere.
