Just because a kid was selected in the 1st round does not mean they are better. PS they split them to get see more kids...winning is lower on the priority list

1st round, pick 4 - TH has just 2 pts in 11 gp,
1st round, pick 5 - EC has just 2 pts in 8 gp
1st round, pick 6 - OG has 0 pts in 11 gp
whereas,
2nd round, pick 33 - JC has 4 pts in 10 gp
2nd round, pick 41 - TL has 5 pts in 10 gp
The 3rd overall pick has only played in 1 OHL game, yet he has still been selected.
At this stage kids should be getting selected for these teams based on their current merits, not past performances.
