JB's choice of taking bigger players is smart. The problem is that the bigger players are AA level in skill set. Where is the AAA talent on that team? Some of those kids can skate reasonably fast in a straight line but lack agility. Going 1-3 in a AAA division spring tourney, mostly made up of AA kids or very weak AAA, proves his strategy is flawed. Trying to put kids through the boards is fine, but 1 win in 4 games? Did that strategy work? Kind of like how that team played in the playoffs.

JB is not great. That was the winter team with some of the AA players that made it. He’s had the majority of that group for a full season. 1-3 speaks volumes to how great JB is at identifying talent. One of his best forwards went to Chatham. Yes, he’s great alright!

1-4 in playoffs. 1-3 in Bauer Shootout.

JB only wants taller players because he thinks bigger is better. Those bigger kids are not AAA players. They will get embarrassed. Other teams improved their rosters while JB downgraded. You need a good mix of both size and AAA talent. Going with less talent and all size is so stupid. JB is definitely not the brightest guy.

When this age group finally gets a non parent, a lot of these kids will be cut back to the level where they belong.

Slow down JB...your time will come to answer in September to your decisions. The footings of your LJK Ivory Tower will start cracking. Maybe if you arrange your regular season to be played at the Hockey Studio or Farquerson arena...only then will you have a chance of a winning season!
