ARD keeping their entire core, but replacing two weaker players with AA players. LF apparently lost their best player…. But gaining 3 AA players is news to me.
ARD will have a short bench again, and apparently still looking for a goalie?
ARD will have 15 skaters, just like every other season. They’ve only had a short bench due to injury or schedule conflict. ARD’s secondary goalie (was MI’s primary goalie in U11) is leaving competitive hockey. So ARD will dress one goalie like in U11 when they ended up in second place.

All of them on the 2nd TRT team.
So the following post "TRT A had to pick up select players for next season and they're not upgrades. Not sure if they'll be in the top 3" has nothing to do with the primary legacy TRT team? Zero Select players moving to TRT, but only to TRTA?
Correct, not the primary team. The second trt team is coming up from Select
There's 2 TRT and 2 Leaside A teams next season.
Incorrect. The primary Reeve team also had to plug some holes and have 2 select kids but that's part of the game. Kids move up, kids move down. Just because they were at select last year doesn't mean they can't play. Similar to an A kid moving up to AA. I'm sure the folks on that thread are trashing any team who picked up an A kid.
Yes they did, maybe two select but they also picked up Aeros top scorer and a TRT AA player. Not sure where this "not upgrades" is referring to.
They lost the better dman who went up to AA and took one that came down. That's an upgrade? And top scorer on the last place team?
Top scorer of the league too or top 3 not just the Aeros.
He'll be one of the top scorers again. The op was referring to Select players. No idea of this better Dman but the one I know is going to the AA organization that will be lucky to win a game next season and the player coming to A was part of two back to back first place AA teams who chose to stay in the organization.
Leaside/last year's squad and the other TRT team picked up AA players too. Upgrades.

While it’s true that the Aeros were in last place, I agree that TA forward was probably the best in the league. And probably better than just about anyone cut from AA.

I heard the new TRT team that came up from select smoked the legacy TRT team in an exhibition game.

Next season will be interesting.

Come on now. TA didn't have ANY AA caliber players. I'd say same goes for the other teams though.

Maybe not a star AA player, but just as good or better than other A players moving up to AA. Your perception is surprising... that there's no similarities in talent between the very best A players and below average AA players.

Below average AA players are those with connections or parent is part of management/coaching group. Been happening forever, get used to it. A or AA who cares anyways as your player won’t make it anywhere without playing AAA hockey. Just have fun and avoid politics.
