Who cares, hope they are having fun and making friends
Elgin having a 25 man roster? You are lost! Why would you leave LJK…???
Why? Because they can. Did you follow the 2009 draft this weekend? Do you know what happened to the LJK team? I suspect the players that want to take their game to the next level, and have potential to take it there, do not want a AA coach and his AA son to be their option for success when they have other options. Especially when rumour has it some of the AA kids will also join the roster. Again 2009 will repeat itself.
Going to Elgin where they only play 5 players, and everyone else rots on the bench is a much better option. The “AA” coach is a class act and so is his kid. Away ya go if you don’t like it. Elgin is exactly what these chat groups say it is, you have all the information you need.
Huron Perth had 75% of their team drafted because the coach teaches hockey, so does the AA London coach. Part of the draft is also your character, how did that work out for the Elgin people who bullied their way through minor hockey??! Lots to think about, remember this is supposed to be about the kids.
Everyone knows what they are getting with EMC. If they want to go, let them. Maybe their kid will crack the top 5 and get tons of ice time. They have new coaches, maybe that helps.
New coaches lol. Rearrange the bench more like it. Don’t think for a sec the same guys won’t be running the show. Playing the same 6 kids.
The 10 new players coming in thinking they will get fair ice based on their play
You are just upset your little Bobby didn't get asked to play with us. We will have the best G,D and F in the league. Are we making 5-6 changes yes, but that's hockey and we want to win. Stop the Hate and worry about your own kid/team and leave us alone already

I think the best forward is in Waterloo, the best goalie in Brantford and the best D in Chatham
I agree except the forward. I think there’s a couple F out there better than Waterloo. Best goalie I agree that ones obvious, your D you can’t argue with either but definitely a few in conversation now that size is coming into play

There is no one best at 13 years old. Points don’t make you the best. Look for attributes like IQ, skating ability, vision, simple effective plays. Passing ! So overlooked. Elgin will be stacked and kids are leaving Chatham. There is trouble in paradise.

This would be a mistake why would anyone go to Elgin, most toxic association on planet earth
