2013 GTHL AAA
Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
Don't believe all the rumours about kids going to DMF there's a lot of trolling and games going on. The new coach was announced very late in the year and he was put in a difficult spot and they're going to do the best they can. A lot of DMF players are going to be selected during the 3 days of tryouts and even AL and MA will tell you it's a 3 year total rebuild. These guys are going to do their best after being put on the bench less than 2 weeks before tryouts.
The most important thing is the team got rid of the Barrie scum and the twins who have no business in this league and had MH in their back pocket because they paid him off. Cutting those kids left DMF with 6 spots to fill in early April and no coach is going to be able to get high end players this late in the season so if they sign a few stinkers to fill the roster so what. It gives kids like HB or whoever another year in AAA and it fills out the roster. The coaches are focussing on 5 core players which they already had and are filling gaps around them. Next year they will replace those kids with upgraded players. It's a process. I have spoken to AL and this team is on the right track it's just going to take time. If they can manage a top 8 finish next year it's a win for them and they are going to keep getting better.

Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
No Parents should be on the bench at this level and age group. You are telling us that DMF couldn't find a suitable coach knowing that they were trying to remove MH. Are these coaches getting paid or are their kids getting free rides? How do you run fair tryout assessments when coaches’ kids are exempt. Nothing has change with DMF other than the parent that running things next season has move from the manager position to the coaching on the bench.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 8:08 am Don't believe all the rumours about kids going to DMF there's a lot of trolling and games going on. are who they will be looking to build around after next year. If they can get solid D like 43 from JRC and 53 from VK they would also build around those kids.

AC is going to change the landscape there.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 12:30 am NYR is looking very good with their new additions.

Re: 2013 GTHL AAA
Because JRC barely plays #43 in big games and he’s better than that.hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 10:18 amhockeyrocks wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 9:42 amJLhockeyrocks wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 9:00 amWho are the 5 core players?hockeyrocks wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 8:41 amNo Parents should be on the bench at this level and age group. #53 will be the best dman on VK but will never get more ice time than #23 and #27 due to politics.
They would instantly be the top D pairing on DMF and get all the important minutes. It makes sense.

AC was kicked off VK and TYN. Stevie wanted him to stay but they chose to leave TRW because the penguin had a hissy fit they were keeping someone better than his kidGuest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 10:25 amLike he did with the TRW?
