Why would you subject your kid to the shit-show for 5 years? Assuming he is a good as you think he is, why not move to a better team with a legit coach or try moving him up to single A?
Oh we left.
And you're trolling the guy 5 years later...
FOR 5 years, not 5 years AGO! You're bright, good job skippy
Oh I see...I thought your kid left after the first year, then the coach was gassed after 5 and now you're chirping him, my mistake.

What you're saying is that your kid suffered for 5 years and now that the coach is replaced and the strong players returning to the team you finally have the courage to chirp him anonymously on MHT, got it.
Oh he was chirped right to his face, I was the only one with balls big enough to do it. Most of you shoelace watchers say and do nothing. You're probably that type. I'm just answering a post to explain why below average coaches always cater to their below average kids and how it can ruin a minor hockey's age group for someone's own self interest of trying to keep their kid relevant. They lack self awareness and need to compensate and justify why they and their kid is on this team or at this level of hockey. C'mon YOU KNOW you've seen it too!
^^^Fantasy, lol. Had you chirped him to his face, you wouldn't be inclined to do it now.

Ok skippy, I'm making it all up. Is there a timeline on how long you can chirp d-bags? Someone with terrible character never changes, they just continue to find ways to lie and act like a bigger dbag! Let the chirping continue!!!!

Sounds like someone was pissed their kid is not very good and now have a really really really tough time letting it go. 5 years is a long time to be upset and not come to grips with reality.

Nah, kid's pretty good actually. That coach needed him more than we needed the coach. No grips to be brought to reality. Guy's a dbag, he's always been a dbag, still acts like a dbag. Just got a taste of his own medicine. It's more a rejoice than anything!

Spoke like a true parent coach- there has never been a situation where the coach’s kid is not favoured. This is why the kid is hated by teammates.
If you don't like the way something is being run, step up and put your name into the hat and see how you do. Leave if necessary.

What never fails is that the loudest parent mouth pieces in hockey always know the least.

It really is funny seeing these loudmouths fall all over themselves and unable to skate at the annual parents vs kids game.

What a stupid response full of shit assumptions! Why is it that whenever someone tries to state an opinion or an experience it just breeds some snide critical remark ....this isn't a who's got the biggest dick contest. Sometimes are are legitimate concerns. Oh no. Never right? All coaches are perfect. I hope you never experience being in the crosshairs for no reason so that we can just hurl bs back at ya? lol

Agree 100% with this. See it all the time. One coach, usually with connections to the executive, gets a position year after year so they can pull the weakest link a level or two above where their skill should have them play. Doesn't care at all about the other 16 kids, and most parents are to worried they are going to blackball their own son so are stuck with the situation.

No my daddy coach is the biggest dick! But it's how I continue to make the team despite his terrible coaching and my lackluster skills.
