Can’t help but notice how quite this poll went when rattlers won no chirping no trash talking. good… as for ST they are going to be a playoff series’s to watch MB should take it but ST are playing very good right now.

The Trainer Speaks:
I've thought long and hard about going public on a site full of trolls, but for every one person who posts on here I'm sure there are another 20 who read but never write anything. This is for you.

I am the Rattler's trainer who has caused so much stress, angst, gossip, scandal, delight, depending on your view point or interest in the subject.
Yes, I have my level 3 trainers, my VSC, multiple years of experience and training across several sports and I have been a practicing chiropractor for the last 28 years. All my credentials and courses are listed under my Hockey Canada Spordle account. All this was submitted at the beginning of the year and I received my receipt and green check mark from Hockey Canada. I take the kids safety rather seriously, as I sit on the bench at all practices and am constantly sending kids off the ice when they don't have their proper equipment on. I also attend most games, except tournament games on Fridays when I am working at my clinic. It is true we requested information to allow us to register 2 trainers at the beginning of the season. We were not provided the proper information by the paid staff member at the GTHL. Apparently the breakdown was between our registrar and the the GTHL office although only one side has claimed any responsibility for this and it's not the GTHL. I became a Trainer at large attached to the Rattlers organization the day after this was brought to our attention. This is nothing that isn't in the public domain already.

It is true that someone went around their own organization and sent my picture in to the GTHL. I was identified because she knows me, she is a person that I have been friendly with, as our kids played together in Oakville for two years when they were young and I was trainer/assistant coach for those teams. Up to that time I was completely unaware of any issue with my registration.
I know that people love to troll but a lot of people have had the crap kicked out of them over this affair, her included. I would ask that you just leave her alone.

Fast forward to last night and the Rattlers vs. Panther game. I was acting as the trainer for the Panthers also, when a horrible injury happened which caused me to spend the majority of the game in the dressing room. By the time we got our player off the ice, cut his equipment off, assessed the injury, waited for the ambulance and tried like hell to keep him from going into shock, I got back onto the bench with about 7 minutes left in the game. In the meantime our other trainer who was present, was keeping watch over the game. Again this is one of the reasons we asked about having two trainers in the first place.

What the G has done to our kids over the last few months I find absolutely disgusting. Judging by the public's response to this most agree. It speaks to a much deeper problem of adults abusing their mandate but I'm sure many of the good people felt change was too big a mountain to climb and left a long time ago. But that is a story for another day.

I myself wish to have nothing to do with the GTHL ever again and will very grudgingly pull dollars out to give to this league next year, should my kid continue on with hockey, however, after what I dealt with last night, I realize the safety of our kids is much more important than any of this petty politics.

Lastly I am immensely proud of our boys. Based on how I feel, they must have been under an enormous amount of pressure the last few weeks. I actually don't know how they have played as well as they have. To be the best, you have to beat the best and they are learning their lessons every game. In a win or you are out game, they delivered when they had to.

Yeah yeah yeah, that's all fine and good. People are just wondering why you were on the bench for every game without being registered. You know you were registered. Your spordle account would have shown you aren't registered. The game sheets showed you aren't registered. The org gets a registration list from the G showing who is registered. So everyone new your weren't registered. Even this parent on another team could figure out you weren't registered.

So why didn't you guys try harder to follow the rules and make sure you were registered. Instead you've chosen to say that it shouldn't matter that you weren't properly registered and it was a miscommunication. But it wasn't. Because every indication support you weren't registered and you did nothing about it. Just lazy maybe? Couldn't be bothered?

But it doesn't matter in the end because the players have gotten to play their fully season, thankful they are in the playoffs now, and I even think there is a good chance the decision will be reversed next week and they will get moved up to 2nd place. So in the end the MR parents created a whole bunch of stress and anxiety for the kids that never needed to be there because it all worked out fine. This whole ordeal has been a bit much from you guys.

You are disgusting and should be ashamed of yourself. I hope you are a kid and not some grown ass man. I never say anything on this site but cannot help myself this morning. Did you not see the kid leave on a stretcher? He is really damaged and your concern is the VP taking a loss. Give your head a shake, look in the mirror and decide if you are a decent human. Your only thought and concern this morning should e the kid who left the game in an ambulance lastnight. People like you make me lose all hope for society. Now go wipe your baby's nose, because the cold is so bad. See you in the playoffs MF.

This is an MR parent here, and I couldn’t be more proud of our kids' performance last night. Despite the tremendous stress they’ve been under with everything that’s happened and how they’ve been treated by the GTHL, they put on a stellar performance that made all of us parents and coaches incredibly proud.

Going toe to toe with a team like the Panthers shows just how talented and competitive our group is, a true compliment given how fantastic that team is. I want to encourage everyone to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We’re hopeful our kids get their games back and that we’ll see you all in the playoffs!

4 of the Rattlers parents have already spoken to Mike about next year, jumping ship. Asking Mike to put in a word, for the new coach.

I appreciate you coming to clear the air, but there are two big questions still hanging out there:

1. Why weren't game sheets accurate? From what I've read, it sounds like your name wasn't on them and some else's was. Is that true?

2. Why did the organization appeal what I understand to be a relatively minor initial penalty? Was it one loss and a short suspension for the coach or something like that? After you all knew you'd been signing incorrect game sheets? Why not just take the (single) L? Show the kids you need to own up to your mistakes? If I'm misunderstanding something, let me know.

I don't have a horse in this race and I only know about it because my kid in another division saw it on social media. I think the penalty is too harsh and punishes the wrong people, including the Panthers, but it's still not clear to my why the organization didn't just accept the one game penalty and move on with life. Again, if I'm misunderstanding, I'd love to be corrected.
