Doubt it, no AA goalie standouts on any AAA team radar. They are unknown and unproven until they are tested at the AAA level.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 11:58 amI am sure there are some good AA goalies making their way up

What a dumb comment to make. How do AA applies get tested at AAA level if they’re not asked onto a team? Idiot.

This guy get its^^ that was the Stupidest comment on MHT. Like saying you doubt AHL goalies come up to the NHL because they’re unproven and untested. Re: 2014 AAA
I think his point is AA goalies coming up will start as #2 and need to earn the #1 spot. Not sure that there are any AA top talent goalies that are must sees for AAA coaches. If you are not asked onto a team, reach out. If nothing further, then it's obvious the kid is not ready and needs more work.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 12:18 pmWhat a dumb comment to make. I’m sorry, but first of all, these kids are 10. The AAA GTHL goalies are not irreplaceable. Because. How many AA centres are there in Ontario? How many kids play hockey in Ontario? Can your miniscule mind not comprehend that maybe there are kids out there who play above their level? There are not 24 GTHL AAA 2014 goalies who are the best in Ontario and are all playing where they should be. Kids don’t have to ‘prove’ themselves, the coaches look for players and goalies alike, and they take the ones they think are best. You don’t need a 4 page long resume to ‘prove’ yourself at AAA. The world doesn’t revolve around HS and FM, they are not the bar, they are not the standard. Despite what their mental dad’s may say.
Re: 2014 AAA
How many AAA centres are there in Ontario? You speak of AA as if that is where most kids will come from. Arguably there will be more AAA movement within AAA from team-to-team, than from AA to AAA. I guess all AAA athletes are wasting their time if AA talent will just take their spots in the long run? AAA awaits the arrival of that top talent AA athlete you speak of if/when the time comes. Until then-simmer down in HL, A, AA and develop.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 12:43 pmI’m sorry, but first of all, these kids are 10. The AAA GTHL goalies are not irreplaceable. Because. Know it’s Trevor trolling everyone. He has no job and sits on here all day. His biggest threat in life is someone, anyone, coming into the G and threatening his kids space. Heaven forbid there’s someone else out there better than HS, imagine if a AA goalie came from somewhere and was better. So he tries to put everyone off in his own special way and searches hard day and night to find a backup to HS who will sit on the bench and keep his mouth shut and never ask about being the starting goalie.

It’s disheartening to see this unfold. While this team may not have been the most talented, let’s remember these are 10-year-old hockey players—children still mastering the basics of the game and life itself. The bigger question isn’t about their talent but the lessons they’re being taught. What message has been sent this season? Have the players lost faith in their coach, or has the team’s culture eroded so badly that they no longer feel motivated to show up?
ML claims to be a mental performance coach, but that title deserves scrutiny. From an outsider’s perspective, it’s worth seriously reconsidering before committing to this program. After all, actions speak louder than titles, and the results here raise more questions than answers.
I stopped by on Sunday to watch TRW vs MR, clear as day! MG’s kid, #11, could barely skate—one hand on his stick the whole time—and somehow, he was out there on the power play!

It’s pretty clear MG is pulling the strings here, and LD is just his finger puppet. Honestly, who even is this LD guy? Does anyone actually train at LD Hockey?
It's clear TRW could have gotten a better coach, writing is on the wall—MG is running the show. LD is just there to make sure his kid gets top-line minutes and power play time.
